Special shout out to concierge staff: Nanako, Naoki, Arata, Mike, for going out of their way to handle our special requests at check out. And the reception lady at 3rd floor right desk on 5/18/2025 ~745pm for calling to make reservation for us. All the staff members took good care of us :) Overall, amazing hotel! Loved the modern design in the lobby, exterior, and mini bar and bathroom in the room. The room was also quite spacious.

We stayed at W Osaka during our trip to Japan and we can confidently say that everything was absolutely perfect. Spotless cleanliness, beautifully designed spaces, and an excellent location for exploring the city. The style is modern and refined, with great attention to comfort and detail. We truly appreciated the pet-friendly management — traveling with our little dogs, it’s rare to find such a warm and thoughtful welcome. The spa is stunning, and I was lucky to enjoy two treatments by two outstanding professionals: Ai Yoshida and Anna Nakamura, both incredibly skilled and attentive. A special thanks to the General Manager, Dr. Vidal, for a flawless and detail-oriented management. If we return to Osaka, there’s no doubt: we will choose W Osaka again.

Truly epic hotel let down by no sound proofing and poor dining experiences. First the good: epic service, stunning suite, lovely gym (if disjointed with all the weights in three different places), great options for dining, Living Room for chilling, OhLala for breakfast, Mydo for upmarket Japanese - although our lunctime dining experiences at the latter two were not satfisfactory. The cleaners seemed to have a problem removing obvious rubbish. Our doughnut box was left in the rubbish bin for 3 days until I lost patience and put it outside our room! The room service wasn’t very smart. I asked if they had draught beer that you can deliver to the room. After checking she said no. I then said does the Living Room have draught beer. After checking she said yes. I then said well in that case you do have draught beer that you can send to the room. Sure enough they did but the first answer should just have been yes. Then the cleaners wouldn’t take these glasses away despite me putting them with the other dirty glasses until I put them in the rubbish bin and they got the hint. The wifi is quick and it’s a good place to work. The bad is the noise at night. Even though we were in a suite and 24 floors up we heard every ambulance/police/fire siren and worse the boy races in their cars and even worse the bikers revving their engines every night to 1am. Not at all considerate and woke me up multiple times. I had to go and buy ear plugs because the noise was so bad. You think that being above a major road the W would have invested in sound proofing but no it’s very noisy at night. I would also add that we had poor dining experiences at both Mydo and OhLala despite multiple email conversations arranging each lunch. See my reviews on both of these places separately but it’s not very impressive for a 5 star hotel to have disjointed and underwhelming service at their flagship restaurants. The staff at breakfast and on reception and in the living room were all fantastic.

Truly enjoyed the stay. From front desk to the bar we had a good chat with the friendly staffs namely Santos and Pat. The living room at level has good cocktails. Pat greeted us well the first time since we entitled to a free drink. When we are back later he still remembers us. Had a good time at the bar. Will be back next time when we visit Osaka. Thanks for the hospitality

First time in Osaka W and service has been great from the front desk to the bar. The room is beautiful with impeccable view of the city. Both Santoz from the front desk and Pat from the bar are friendly plus helpful. Drinks were good as well. Thank you for the hospitality! We will definitely be back when we visit Osaka again
