About the Hotel
Hotel Continental Oslo is a graceful Victorian era hotel that is family-run, gorgeously designed, and overlooks Palace Park. The hotel is a mix of contemporary and classic decor and the rooms and suites are all individually designed with pristine bathrooms. The accommodations are spacious and bright, some with beautiful wooden floors, silk bedding, city views and terraces with views of the fjord. The Theatercaféen is an absolute must and it remains one of the places to see with its Vienna coffee house décor. Portraits of renowned past and present patrons adorn the walls, and the menu is based on the best seasonal ingredients. Staff are friendly and relaxed, and there is a pleasant bar.

A super stay in the heart of Oslo
The room and especially the bedding was really great. Maked you want to come back It is a pleasure to find hotel in the Nordics where service is still a value and this clearly is one of them.. super service and very attentive staff. The breakfast is excellent and recomendable A benefit that I wished I had known is the Airport Train stops basically 100 meters from the hotel, saving you a cab fare from the Central station. Back to the Airport was 42 minutes from leaving the hotel till past security in Gardermoen Airport..

A timeless Oslo landmark with a modern edge
Absolutely loved everything about Hotel Continental. The location couldn’t be better — right in the heart of Oslo, steps from the National Theatre and main attractions. The dining options are outstanding, from casual pizza to elegant fine dining, and there’s always a wonderful buzz throughout the hotel. I especially appreciated the blend of historic charm and contemporary Scandinavian design — a true classic with a modern soul. I will be back!

Stylish Hotel in the Heart of Oslo
Hotel Continental is a beautiful and stylish hotel in a great location of Oslo. We enjoyed a junior suite with a balcony. The rooms are very well appointed with a large bathroom which included a bath in ours suite. *Service was 5 star. *Lobby Bar offered great food and drinks *Breakfast buffet and menu was very good quality and generous *Location was central and convenient Overall, an outstanding stay!

Perfect hotel, location, staff and food!
This was an impeccable hotel, beautiful rooms, beautiful facilities, attentive staff and a wonderful restaurant. Amazing location as well. Do not hesitate to stay at this wonderful hotel.

Good stay overall
Overall had a good experience, but for Amex FHR and LHW property there are somethings that could be improved on. No bottled water, not a big deal as we drank for tap anyways, but should the standard for a hotel at this price point. Turn down service not really a turn down service, they don't do much and bed runners were left on bed. WiFi for us was pretty useless, signal wasn't strong and when we were able to use it, was pretty slow. Liked the location, across the street from Nationaltheateret station and was easy to get to Oslo airport and central enough to explore the city on foot.
