About the Hotel
Hotel Continental Oslo is a graceful Victorian era hotel that is family-run, gorgeously designed, and overlooks Palace Park. The hotel is a mix of contemporary and classic decor and the rooms and suites are all individually designed with pristine bathrooms. The accommodations are spacious and bright, some with beautiful wooden floors, silk bedding, city views and terraces with views of the fjord. The Theatercaféen is an absolute must and it remains one of the places to see with its Vienna coffee house décor. Portraits of renowned past and present patrons adorn the walls, and the menu is based on the best seasonal ingredients. Staff are friendly and relaxed, and there is a pleasant bar.

A beautiful hotel in the heart of Oslo
We had a horrible experience with the Airbnb we had booked and we called Hotel Continental and were able to find beautiful rooms. The facility was high quality, staff at all levels were extremely professional and helpful and the buffet breakfasts were fantastic. The location is right in City Centre and easy to get everywhere. Unfortunate Oslo Anniversary Stay
Sadly disenchanted. Initially, we were impressed by the location and hotel appeared fairly elegant. Then, I was almost double charged for lunch if I did not pay attention to the bill!! Unacceptable! Then housekeeping neglected to put face clothes in the bathroom and I pointed this out to reception and suggested the evening housekeeper rectify this yet they did not. We are celebrating our 21st anniversary and sadly no special hospitality- in fact when I suggested a bottle of champagne or wine I was promptly informed “ NO ALCOHOL” - only petit fors 😂 Have to just say I would have given a one star but bartender Ole was wonderful. Gracious and informative.

Great location in Oslo
We had a great stay at Hotel Continental. The location was excellent, making it easy to get around, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We booked a Junior Suite with a Corner Balcony, which was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The balcony was a wonderful bonus and a great place to relax. We'd happily stay here again.

Lovely but no breakfast for early risers
The staff was friendly and helpful. Our luggage was taken to our room for us, which was so nice after a long trip and we did not want to try to stack all our bags in the small elevator. Our room was lovely and had a decent view of the city. We had to leave early so we did not get to take advantage of the breakfast in the morning. That is probably the only negative, is that there was not an alternative for breakfast for guests who caught an early train to Flåm. Would have been nice to be able to order room service or something. Not a long walk to the train station with backpacks but would have been more challenging with rolling bags. Otherwise, great location. The hotel is lovely. Everything was clean in the bed was comfortable.

Fabulous hotel in the heart of Oslo
It was an amazing hotel. Perfect room and air conditioning. Super helpful and friendly staff. The location is in the absolute centre of the city
