Baglioni Masseria Muzza

Fantastic Service from the moment we arrived. Everything we needed was taken care of. From shuttles to Ortanto or the beach, towels for the boat trip, water when needed, 2 mins to clean up a bottle i dropped. Nothing was too much trouble. The resort is calm and relaxing. We both loved the accommodation and had great sleep at night in cool white interiors. We had a deluxe room that was perfect for us, worth noting the staircase to a mezzanine for sleeping with bathroom downstairs. Breakfast was amazing. We had a continental included, it was way more than a typical continental. Huge selection of fruit, breads, pastries, cheeses, hot foods, juices and eggs anyway to order. Fantastic pool for afternoons relaxing after travelling. The hotel is located away from Ortranto by 10 mins but they are amazing at coming to collect/ drop off in a lovely shuttle. Bar cocktails and service were perfect.

Staff outstanding. Shuttle to Otranto good, might work better if they had standard times eg on the hour from hotel and they leave promptly, then on half hour back? Pool lovely with views of nearby lake, excellent service there. Restaurant breakfast excellent. We did not see many people eat dinner there, I suspect as it is costs more than double any other nearby restaurant which is a shame as it would probably mean more people used the bar too, and create a nice atmosphere. Our room was spacious and clean. Lovely bathroom. The air con didn’t seem to work properly and the room smelt a bit damp at times, they did offer to move us but we were only there a few nights and had unpacked a lot of stuff so we didn’t bother.

Hidden in natures beauty with exceptional service from the front desk concierge starting from Valentina Ivana Luisa Sylvie Daniel and Eros, to the friendly Ingrid Ambra Samuel Danilo Marco and Mauro and the swimming pool host Giuseppe and the shuttle drivers Micro Giuseppe and. David and all the cleaning staff Luana Tonia and the many more and not to forget Claudia at the Spa and the leader of the hotel Vittorio have made our stay amazing

From the moment we pulled up to the gates with our car and a staff member ran to welcome us, have our luggages taken from our car and check us in, we felt already at home. It’s how we feel when we are at Masseria Muzza. Incredible staff from the front desk: Valentina. Ivana, Luisa, Silvia, Daniele and Ramos, to the pool attendant Giuseppe, to the pool bar staff Marco and Danilo and Mauro to the morning girls at Mirto breakfast Ingrid and Amber who know how to start your day with their welcoming big smile and to Samuel at the Mirto dinner who was always attentive to our needs. Can’t say enough about the service we received. Then there’s the shuttle with its drivers Mirko, Giuseppe and David so convenient to take us to the beach or to the town of Otranto or even to some neighbour hood restaurants. Their service was indispensable. The whole setup is in a masseria which is calm and relaxing in every way from their beautiful grounds, to the flower blooms at the reception to all the quaint sitting areas, you ant ask for more!! It was our first experience in a masseria but will certainly not be our last! Living on the countryside for 14 days was everything we looked for in our Puglia vacation. I do recommend to have a car as public transport or taxis and Ubers are not serviced in Otranto. Unless you turn to private transport which can be quite costly.

Great location, friendly staff and the food was unbelievable. Highly recommend staying for dinner. Also nice to be close to Otranto .
