The stay was great, location amazing! Staff was very kind. My husband & I didn’t appreciate the pressure of using the hotels taxi services.

Like some other hotels, the ARC charges a 'resort fee' which is ridiculous, given that there isn't even a pool or anything to suggest that it is a resort! Not impressed. Otherwise, very small room, but clean. On the positive side, good location - easy walk to Parliament Hill, the market, restaurants, etc

This is a pleasant, friendly small hotel whose staff went out of their way to help me with small details during a short trip to Ottawa. Nothing was too much trouble. It was quiet and well-appointed. I would stay here again.

Astounding that a hotel has the gall to charge what they do for the dreary, cold, bland and dated amenities, while claiming that a traveller should: "Experience Warmth and Comfort in Downtown Ottawa" ! It only rivals cuddling a porcupine. No artwork or even something to cheer up the gray room. Fluorescent bulbs fit for a laboratory. Dated. Worn out, In need of paint and new carpet. The bar could not muster up a bourbon sour, for lack of lemons and the apparently one bottle of cab had been drained by another thirsty guest...sorry. Of 10 downtown Ottawa hotels in which I have stayed over the years - this ranks 11th....

I had a lovely stay, very quiet room where I had excellent rest. All of the staff were very friendly and courteous. My only bump in the stay was a bit of a struggle with my luggage on the front steps so folks with mobility issues perhaps check in with hotel staff for assistance prior to arrival. Thank you ARC, see you next time!
