Overall excellent experience, extremely well managed front office, Elizabeth is a perfect host, varied dining options, perfectly presented, Swahili night was a highlight. Well done Robert and team! The rooms were very well appointed and maintained impeccably clean. The beauty packages were expertly delivered and the beach area was just a lovely natural and comfortable setting. Nothing was too much trouble for the Amani team!

Amani Boutique Hotel in Paje is a true gem on the shores of Zanzibar. With just 15 rooms, it offers an intimate and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for couples or solo travelers seeking relaxation. The rooms are spotless, spacious, and tastefully decorated, with quiet air-conditioning and attentive housekeeping twice a day. The beachfront location is stunning, and it’s just a short walk to the center of Paje. The staff—especially Robert, Anna, and Alfred—go above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome. Breakfast is fresh and delicious, and the à-la-carte dinner menu is superb. Amani is pure island bliss.

Amani Boutique Hotel is a gem on the Paje beach, nested far from the noise of the kiting crowd, yet at edge of the powder white sands of the Island. The quiet hotel is surrounded with trees and greenery yet is as clean as a top hotel room in the city. The food is amazing both in taste and presentation, i highly recommend taking the offered courses as the quality of the food at Amani is far superior to the surrounding, sparse, restaurants. The rooms are stylish, authentic and spacious, the crew is all smiles and friendly vibes, the view is superb and the chill is addictive. Ill be coming back asap.

Our stay at the Amani was perfect, from the room, with its pretty balcony, convenient fridge and comfortable bed, to the restaurant with a new menu every day, and delicious dishes each time (we took the half-board option, and were so glad we did). A great advantage of the Amani is the ability to walk into Paje town along the beach, and see all the kite surfers without being right in among them all. The beach out front is gorgeous, and easy to walk into and paddle through (none of the sharp corals the guidebooks had warned us about). We really enjoyed the little lounge by the ocean, where we could sit with a drink and watch the sun go down. Finally, the staff could not have been more helpful, friendly and attentive.

Amazing hotel stay and location, made even more special by the wonderful staff. From the security, to reception, to the maids, restaurant staff and spa team… you are made welcome every moment of your stay. The private beach and seating areas make for an idyllic break away. The best burger I’ve ever had! Thanks for the memories Amani.
