Hotel Principe di Villafranca

We just finished a one week stay at this amazing hotel. The lobby was very modern adorned with beautiful wall art and antique furniture. The room we had was modern, very clean and quiet through the night. The bed and linens were some of the best we ever experienced. The mattress was incredibly comfortable. Good sized shower with rain head, great water pressure and very nice towels. The breakfast was very good with lots of fresh fruits, breads, pastries, assorted cold cuts, hard boiled as well as hot scrambled eggs with bacon. The staff also provided freshly made coffees and were on top of keeping the food well supplied. Just excellent all the way. My only suggestion would be that they could have signage to be respectful of other diners and no cell phone conversations. We experienced a group of people that acted as if they were the only ones there. It spoiled our experience that day. We had to ask them to consider the other diners.

We stayed at this wonderful establishment for five nights and we loved the experience. The reception was warm and courteous; she provided all the dining and sightseeing needs in the proximity of the hotel, which we had great dining experiences based on her suggestion. Our junior suite is spacious and house keeping did an immaculate job during our stay. The hotel is situated within walking distance of almost all major attraction, which is really convenient. The breakfast at the lobby lounge is great and service is attentive. Highest compliment to the management of premises which made our stay in Palermo memorable.

This hotel is a very nice hotel in a great location. Staff was excellent and very accommodating. Good restaurant recommendations. Walking distance to main thoroughfare in Palermo along with most restaurants, the market, opera house and marina. No onsite restaurant but excellent complimentary daily breakfast. Location was very quiet. Fitness room was available but we did not use it. Room was spacious and clean. Overall very happy with this hotel and would definitely recommend.

Super friendly staff - Angelo was incredibly helpful and hospitable. I don’t know if my trip would have gone as well without his help. The hotel was very clean and nice. I’ll definitely be staying here next time I’m in Palermo. Highly recommend. Not worth taking chances elsewhere.

We arrived late on a Sunday night to be welcomed by a young gentleman who had spent time in the UK & made us feel extremely welcome. He made sure we were aware where to go for breakfast the next morning & how to find our room. The hotel has been recently refurbished & feels fresh. Your in the city but it's a quiet location. The waitresses at breakfast are lovely always happy & very helpful. The reception team have been full of information & happy to take time & explain with the use of maps on where to go & how best to find your way around. The cleaner is full of energy & keeps the room spotless. The gym is adequate there's some quality kit in there treadmill & multi gym. Plus an exercise bike & rowing machine. The free weights are also useful. A wonderful stay & really recommend this little gem.
