Villa Igiea - classic luxury
Wonderful architecture and gardens. Beautiful rooms with high ceilings and comfortable furnishings. But the highlight for us is the buffet breakfast and evening meals in the dining room overlooking the marure sub- tropical trees and gardens, the marina, sea and mountains. The service we received throughout the hotel - concierge with Phillip and others , dining room and bar area with Francesco, Salvatore and Paola and all the staff and the quality of food and housekeeping was superb.

A wonderful & memorable three night break in 5 star ++ Villa Igiea
A beautiful hotel, it is a delight to stay at Villa Igiea. The rooms are spacious, comfortable & thoughtfully decorated. Staff are constantly attentive, eager to please & go out of their way to make your stay memorable. The wonderful experience is worth every euro!

Wonderful location
Villa Igiea, sits majestically on the the Bay of Palermo with wonderful vistas. The hotel is immaculately kept, whether it be the gardens, pool area or outside dining areas. Nothing is out of place. The room we had was again tastefully decorated and had everything you might need while away from home. The staff are professional, polite and respectful . They all ( whatever their role) show a love and respect for Palermo and Sicily which was wonderful to see. The hotel restaurant had a fairly restricted menu but uses local produce where it can. My personal view was the food didn’t quite hit the standard I would have expected for this class of hotel. However, the bar and casual dining area was very very good indeed. The shuttle bus in and out of central Palermo is invaluable if you want to access all the historical sites etc. Overall I would recommend Villa Igiea if you are spending a few days in the city.
