A beautiful stay

Everything was wonderful. The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make our stay here so special. The room was beautiful, as was the breakfast and the view. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Simply Exceptional

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Sometimes, after an exceptional stay, you return with a quiet worry that it might not live up to the memory. Our last two nights at Villa Igiea were the complete opposite. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and professionalism of the team were evident. Service was intuitive and genuinely caring, the food was exceptional, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was calm, elegant, and restorative. Our stay felt truly heavenly. Villa Igiea doesn’t just maintain its standards — it exceeds them. We cannot thank the team enough for making our return visit even more special than the first.

Total relaxation in Palermo!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Amazing hotel! A true escape from the chaos of downtown Palermo. They have a shuttle that can take you to town all day, very easy, ten minutes! The rooms are spacious and quiet, beautiful interior design. Food is excellent. Service was outstanding. Great amenities. I will be back!

Sumptuous bedding and a banquet at breakfast.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

Seeing my bewilderment faced with the cornucopia of local delicacies and other delectable choices at breakfast, a concerned waiter asked if I would, perhaps, like the chef to make me some porridge? Er, no thanks. Staying at Villa Igiea is to be transported to another era of elegance and comfort, but with the friendliest and most welcoming hotel staff who make this not just a visit, but a life-enhancing experience. Our short stay provided delightful memories: a beautiful bedroom with fine linen, cloud-soft pillows (top quality goose down?) a spacious marble bathroom with Irene Forte organic products (prickly pear shampoo was interesting) and a collection of books including ‘The Leopard’ to set the historical Sicilian scene. Several magnificently decorated period ballrooms reflect this. The well-tended gardens overlook the harbour, with shady paths under tall striking trees, where we sat on the patio enjoying our breakfast banquet under blue skies and sun even in December. The charming reception and conciege staff were very helpful with advice and arrangements, and we made good use of the free transport to the centre of Palermo and an excursion elsewhere. Many thanks to them and all the other staff who ensured our visit to Palermo was such an unforgettable pleasure.
