The hotel setting on the water, the grounds, and the views from the balconies with rooms facing the water are magnificent. The staff seamlessly and unobtrusively move about the property to keep everything in tiptop shape. Service requests are performed almost instantaneously. The Concierges Desk is easily able to perform the seemingly impossible. Even the Restaurant.s on the property served the best food we experienced in Palermo, including a Michelin star restaurant and a Michelin recommended restaurant. We loved every moment of our stay here.

Villa Igiea is a truly special hotel. The property is stunning, with so much history and character, beautiful Art Nouveau architecture, gorgeous interiors and an incredible setting overlooking the sea. It feels elegant and luxurious, but still has a very distinct sense of place and never feels stiff or overly formal. What impressed us just as much as the hotel itself was the service. Everything worked seamlessly and naturally, and the entire team was warm, attentive and incredibly professional. The concierge recommendations were also excellent and helped us discover some of our favorite places in Palermo. We left completely fascinated by Villa Igiea and Palermo, and already wanting to return with more time. It is absolutely a hotel I would recommend with complete confidence.

The experience at Villa Igiea was one of the best of my life. Everything was truly perfect, and you can feel and appreciate the value of Rocco Forte behind this historic hotel. The service is exceptional, truly a step above what you find in the city and across the island. A level like this can only be found in the best hotels in the world. All the restaurants are outstanding, especially the magnificent terrace, where you can enjoy cocktails of the highest quality. The cuisine is also exceptional, and you absolutely must try their iconic spaghetti al pomodoro. The service is excellent, from the lifeguards all the way up to the management. It’s important to point out that the rooms were spotless and everything was always perfectly kept in order. Everyone makes you feel at home. I had the pleasure of meeting the General Manager and the Hotel Manager—both highly knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely warm people. A truly unique stay that I would wholeheartedly recommend to everyone.

I had an amazing dinner and drinks at the hotels restaurant Floria. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Vicenzo especially was so polite, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu.
