Reviews for Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa and Casino

best place to stay in aruba

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 17 hours ago

The Hyatt Regency is a beautiful place to stay located right in the heart of Palm Beach. From the check-in, staff, everyone is super friendly, very informative. Rooms are clean and spacious with amazing views. The food was good, we recommend the Runias Del Mar (restaurant or bar) better than the other restaurant. Overall, I would recommend the Hyatt Regency for your next stay in Aruba!

Good experience, highly recommend

Very nice stay. Great location, staff friendly and helpful. The sign-up process for the beach is somewhat to be desired. Although they open at 7 am - the line starts we before that time. I've stayed at the Marriott and this location is preferred due to the location, updated property and ease to everything.

WE WILL BE BACK!!!! 10/10!!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

So sad to leave Aruba and writing this review while waiting to board our flight home. Copy pasting the format of a previous post so that I remember to include all details! Airport: PAY TO DO THE VIP DEPARTURE!!!!!!! You can purchase this through the airport's website. Is it about $200 per person and WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY PLUS SOME. Kids under 12 are free. It was abour $200 per person. From arriving at the airport to sitting down in the VIP lounge it was THIRTY MINS!!! We heard it could be FOUR HOURS!! Worth it worth it worth it. Hotel: The hotel is stunning and imaculately kept. By far the most luxurious hotel on the beach. You can rent a float for $5/day or bring your own and have it inflated for you. Two things we saw while there that we wish we thought of: straps for your beach chairs because of the wind. We had clips but it didn't work as well as those with what looked like workout band straps and the top and bottom of their chairs. Also anchors for your floats! People scooped sand into a portable anchor and tied it to their chairs in the water. BRILLIANT. We were constantly paddling back to shore when we began to drift. The water was clear, warm, refreshing, and so clean!!! The beach was immaculate too! THE STAFF WERE SO KIND!! Especially the woman at breakfast. We will miss that breakfast every day! Room: We had a king room on the 7th floor. The room was perfectly cold and pefectly clean. We had a juliette balcony and while we wished we had a real balcony, we were barely in the room. Use that extra money for the airport VIP departure instead, seriously!! Chairs: We had booked prior to arrival and they honored our reservations and did not charge us. We prefered sitting in the front of the adult pool on the end of the rows. We were in palapa 90 and 89 all week. It seemed that people without reservations were down before 8 AM for booking. Beach: HEAVEN. We stayed on the beach the entire time and only left for dinners. It was quiet and relaxing. Whatever sunscreen you plan to pack, double it! No waves just pure Heaven to sit there all day. Palapas offer great shade. Food: We did not have our kids with us this trip so we just went with the flow without plans and reservations. We walked down the beach to Bugaloe every single day! We stumbled upon it on day one and it was an immediate favorite. Reasonably priced, delicious food and drinks, 10/10 atmosphere RIGHT ON THE WATER, live music. All around our new favorite place. We would go in bathing suits and coverups right from the beach. We cannot wait to return!!

First trip to Aruba

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

We booked the Hyatt for our first trip to Aruba and we will certainly be staying there from now on, the resort is grades above the others on the island and the staff is fantastic , Danielo at the Palms breakfast was exceptionally great. The gardens of the hotel are beautiful and well kept, the very prompt beach service and the numerous available palapas also made beach days very easy and stress free. We rented a car to visit various points on the island and the valet was fantastic always got our car quickly and had it cooled down for us once we were ready to leave.
