I stayed at the Hyatt Regency with two children in February. We chose this hotel over higher-end options because of the water slide and it being walking distance to Palm Beach shops and restaurants, and we did not have a good experience. The hotel was full of college-aged kids/young adults and it felt like a giant fraternity party with extremely loud noise and partying going on until 4:30am or later. When we called the front desk to ask them to quiet various gatherings/parties happening outside our room at 4:15am, 1:45am, etc. on multiple different nights, it took more than one phone call for anything to be done, and the attitude or staff was almost annoyance that we expected to be able to sleep at those hours. I don’t know if we just got unlucky wit who happened to be staying there at the same time as us, but this was not a family-friendly experience. Aside from the noise at all hours of the night, there were drunk people in and around the pool all day long as well. My children got an eyeful and actually had a tally running each day of how many stumbling drunk people they spotted. This is not at all what we expected from a hotel priced like this one and billed as being family-friendly. I would not stay there again and would only recommend it for people looking to party all day and night. It’s a shame because the facilities and food, etc., were all good.

You can expect typically top-shelf Hyatt quality, but with the added beauty of the luscious outdoor scenery. Located on easily one of the top beaches on the island, there is no shortage of great experiences within walking distance.

Overall the hotel is good, but for $ 1,200/night you should have much more. And still you have to pay for the food! At lest you should be 100% sure to have a spot on the beach under an umbrella , and that is not guaranteed if you don't show up at 9 am or you are lucky The beach is beautiful even if during this season it is overcrowded. The Hotel is near to all the restaurants and the shops.

Hyatt Regency Aruba is an excellent Vacation. Its World Class and they will do everything for you if possible. I will be back next year.
