Best resort for families or adults only. Had a wonderful time. The staff was friendly and remembered our names. The grounds were impeccable, and the room was great. Valet was quick and responsive.

Hotel is in an excellent location. As a family of three adults and one child we were able to reserve connecting rooms which worked very well for our family. Rooms were very clean and food at breakfast was very good. Although we were able to reserve our palopa in advance which is great, the map did not show that ours was right behind the boats/pier which was a negative. There was also not much for my 11 year old granddaughter to do without paying for tubing, speedboat and snorkeling. Overall though, I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars.

Unfortunately I had a terrible experience with the facility. We love Aruba and decided to try the Hyatt since I am a member for our family vacation. We traveled with 2 kids. The experience itself from a malfunctioning door to exit our room area hitting us multiple times, to rude employees and the facility trying to call the police on us for a supposed unpaid bill after I attempted to give them my credit card and pay during check out to the manager Aline who checked me out saying she would email me with a bill and then claiming I said was in a rush and had a taxi outside waiting for me which was untrue. I had a rental and we went to sight see after so there was no rush during checkout and I communicated after I left via email regarding the bill only to not receive a response and instead being stopped by Aruba police claiming the hotel called them about a bill. I showed the police my email of my attempt to send my card to pay invoice and explained I’m awaiting their email back but instead of sending me my bill they proceeded to call police with false claims and since the police saw the emails he told us there was no problem and allowed us in. All this while we had children. I don’t recommend to anyone, and every-time I had to step to the front desk there was a long line of guests complaining about something, getting frustrated with employees and requesting managers. I expected much more for a facility in Aruba especially for a Hyatt hotel. If you do go, drinks at the lobby bar are very good, and the pool bar is great for family and kids. The wings and their pizza at the pool bar is amazing and the waterslide is fun if you don’t come across the rude employee Cesar who was very rude to us.

🎯 Mixed Experience: Great Location, Subpar Service and Hidden Fees Pros: * Beautiful grounds: The resort looks very nice. * Great features: There is a beautiful, large pond filled with fish. * Perfect location: It is right on the beach and surrounded by great bars and restaurants. * Good sleep: The bed itself was highly comfortable. Cons: * Terrible service: Staff members were unfriendly, unwelcoming, and unhelpful when asked questions. * Bad pillows: The pillows were highly uncomfortable and ruined the good bed. * Constant overcharging: They nickel-and-dime you for everything, adding surcharges on top of tips. * Safety hazard: The breakfast area floor is extremely slippery due to water dripping from the AC units.
