Golf was too expensive and slow
We stayed at a beautiful house on the property and played the Ocean Course Thursday and had sticker-shock at the $375 green-fee. Then we played Friday and the green fee was about $425. The scorecard says a round should take 4 hours and 9 minutes. We played 9 holes in 2 hours and 42 minutes. There were 4 groups on the 8th tee. No Marshall. We were going to miss our dinner reservation. The Pro Shop gave us a partial refund because we only played 9 holes but it was such a bummer to play so slow and we can't justify going back.

Eight of Us Will Never Go Back - Price is Outrageous
Eight of us will never go back to Hammock Beach Resort. We have visited and golfed here a few times over the last 6 years. But their prices now are so outrageous, that regardless of how much money we have, it is not worth $457 (incl. Service Charge, 3% Credit Card Fee and after 1PM discount) to golf 18 holes there. It has a few beautiful holes on the Atlantic Ocean. However, I play courses just as nice for almost $400 less in Orlando. Attached is my receipt for cash w/o credit card fee.

Very nice, clean and quite resort.
Very clean and quiet resort. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pools were cold during our stay but that's expected for mid-March. Overall we were very satisfied and would go back.

Great Property, Location and Courses
The property is beautiful and extremely well kept. The two golf courses are challenging but fun and in immaculate condition. Both are very different, making it a great place to stay for 4 days and play. A good value. Rooms are well appointed and clean with minimal noise levels. Check-in and reservation staff could use some customer service training.
