Let me start with the positive …the staff were very lovely and the restaurant’s were great. The views amazing. Beautiful beach. Golf course is superb. My son has food allergies and they were outstanding in accommodating him. However, the resort rooms need a major overhaul. We stayed at the lodge…great views of ocean…however, room was gross…not like the pics …no toiletries, limited towels..when they gave them…dirty old bathroom…toilet seat needed to be replace badly stained…rotting trim…dirty floors…not enough toilet paper…had to beg for room to be cleaned..mold on drapes…rusting railing on terrace…rusty tables…had to beg for towels at pool first day and umbrellas to be opened…short on pools for all of the guests…not sure how many folks can be accommodated at pools when at full capacity. It was not fully booked and pools were jammed. The pool chaises at lodge pool were old and sagging. Umbrellas at beach were mostly broken. A lot of “not my job” - call the other guy. Never sent directions and drove around huge property trying to figure it out. No valet at lodge. Tries to be high end but a declining Queen that is one step below a chain hotel at the lodge. Manager advised and just said sorry. Wow. You will have to give rooms away at this rate. So much potential but Poorly managed. Don’t advising staying here if you like clean rooms and no mold. Very very aggravating stay..,should never have to ask that much for basic services. You charge but don’t deliver.

This is our second time at Hammock Bch and it won't be the last. The kids have a blast pool hoping and being so close to the beach. You can't beat the views either.

excellent golf facilities and good food with comfortable accommodation. Ocean and Conservatory golf courses were in excellent condition.

Wonderful experience even if you don't golf. The pool is the highlight of resort if you have a young family. Staff is trained well and very friendly. It's quiet and attracts a more mature crowd, and the vibe is fairly relaxed.

Check in was great with Monica. Bellhops awesome and friendly . Shout out to Beau! Denise at Loggerheads the bartender was top of the line! John at the bar near the hospitality desk was great. When busy, he should have had some backup but he was keeping pace for the most part when slammed . They should have projected for this after the dinner with the business crowd on a Saturday night, they would be out for a few cocktails. .Food was AMAZING. We had buffet dinner nightly with our work event. The gym was really nice. The adult pool was enjoyable and they had nice entertainment. Beyond that, there needs to be improvement. Our floor ..2nd..had noticeable wear in the hallway in some areas which maintenance has not kept up with. The cleaning staff… can’t make this one up: I had a “Do not disturb” sign on the door to take an afternoon nap. They paid no attention… rang the doorbell and then knocked to clean. The next day the sign was off the door (meaning to come in for service) and no one showed up to make the bed, provide fresh towels or take out the trash. I know there was a language barrier, but the sign is very clear on when to come in and not to. My guest and I found this disturbing. The resort is huge and we had been warned about the lack of overall service—not a reputation the place should want, but it’s there with the cleaning staff. There was a young group of girls who were cleaning and very loud speaking and slamming doors. I heard the cleaning staff is outsourced. This resort should screen who should be allowed in the resort from the outsourced company. Reputation is everything.
