The Reef House

This hotel hold a special place in our hearts as we spent our honeymoon here 24 years ago and it didn’t disappoint! We had a wonderful return stay at the beautiful Resort. It feels like a luxury home, beautiful spacious rooms, the staff are wonderful, the service is first rate, so friendly and personal, nothing was too much for the team and we felt very spoiled. Beautiful food, complimentary yoga classes, talks and bicycles for hire made our stay extra special. We will definitely be back again. Thank you to Cedric and the team.

In one word: PERFECT! There is honestly very little to add. From the moment we arrived, everything was simply exceptional: the perfect location, outstanding service, and the warmest, friendliest team who made us feel truly welcome. The Reef House was the perfect place to slow down, relax and enjoy the final days of our incredible three-week journey through Australia. After such a wonderful trip, we could not have wished for a more beautiful and special way to finish it. A huge thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable, and specially to Cedric (the concierge). We booked 4 months in advance of our travel and the communication in that time was excellent. From check-in until check-out the attention to detail was exceptional . We had a package deal with very generous inclusions and nothing was ever a problem for the incredible staff during our stay. We celebrated our silver wedding anniversary during the stay and we were made to feel very special. The Reef House is an exceptional place to stay.

We spent a fabulous week at the Reef House, our first stay. The accommodation is just beautiful, with a contemporary beach house vibe throughout. Our room was right at the front so we were lulled to sleep each night by the sound of the waves on Palm Cove Beach. Located right in the middle of Williams Esplanade the location and views are perfect. On arrival we were taken excellent care of, and after a very early flight were delighted to be told our room was ready and waiting! The staff are friendly, ready with a smile and banter, and take great care of all the guests. From the perfect cooked breakfast overlooking the foreshore to butler service by the pool and delicious tangy sorbets each afternoon we were completely spoiled. There are two spa pools and a mineral warm pool along with a cooler deep pool to relax by. Optional activities including cocktail classes and wine tasting along with bikes for a ride around town and onsite spa make for the perfect FNQ getaway. Our last evening included a beautifully prepared 3 course meal with wines, the food was delicious and our very knowledgeable sommelier helped with the perfect wine selection. We have stayed in Palm Cove many times over the past 20 years and this was our first stay at Reef House, and will definitely be back again!
