FSGA Tournament was run well (as always) - Resort Hotel was overpriced and not worth it. The staff in the registration was adequate. The check-out showed a lack of attention to detail. The bell staff was terrific. The golf shop/staff and the golf check-in was spot on. The golf staff, I feel had too many groups/tournaments going on at the same time - we had no balls at the range (2 different days) because of various tee times and it was not easy and time consuming to wait for refills at the range for warm-up. I also think that because Valspar had just hosted a major tournament at the facilities that the fairways and rough areas suffered the most. The greens were fast & tough which was very respectful. Kudos to the superintendent’s team for that. The accommodations were not up to snuff at all. Better variety (including gluten free options) is/are needed at the restaurants & dining areas.

Went with my son for a 3-day "Full Swing" golf package. Playing the Copperhead Course one week after the Valspar Open was a dream come true and worth the entire trip. We also played the Island Course which was also great and the South Course which wasn't anything special. The accommodations (which you have to book to get access to the courses) are dated and not five-star in any respect. Felt like I was staying with my grandparents at a resort that time had passed by. I should mention that the people and hospitality are top-notch. Jackie and Danielle K at the breakfast went above and beyond and Paul at the front desk is an all-star.

Terrible experience. Two out of 3 course were horrible. Worst kept golf courses. Seems like ground keeper went on strike 2 years ago. Worst privately owned golf course I have ever played. Property is very old. Accommodations are dated and old. My watch got stolen from the room and manager would not even call us back.

A group of friends and their children accompanied me to the Loch Ness Pool for a Sunday fun day. The experience was amazing! The recreation staff were great, showing the kids where the sand toys were. The staff at the grill were phenomenal! The food was amazing and the cocktails were just what we needed. Everyone went out of there to make the day special. My friends had a fantastic time! I couldn’t be more grateful to everyone there!

Copperhead is an overpriced golf course and a forgettable experience. Island was good, South course is a cow pasture. The food at Packards steakhouse was really good. Went with a group of friends, not a great group experience, there is also no other groups present.
