Colony Palms Hotel

Pros: Quiet relaxing understated vibe, lovely grounds, not a party hotel, good restaurant/bar, very comfortable bed, clean room, convenient location near downtown, friendly staff. Cons (relatively minor): Seating in restaurant was uncomfortable (the back of the chairs are sloped away from table, an awkward angle for eating). Not enough hooks in room to hang robes and towels. Hard to control the heat/ac as thermostat was not lit and appeared to be outdated. On rainy days it would be nice if there was a doormat to wipe feet before entering the room to avoid tracking wet shoes in on to the bare floor.

Hands down THE most exquisite experience. From the food & drinks to the overall ambiance, we were literally in heaven. I can’t tell you the last time I extended my trip because of a hotel. We were supposed to fly out after one night here, and we ended up changing our flights, family plans, etc. just so we could have one more night here. An absolute 10 out of 10!!!!!!

This hotel is amazing! I highly recommend. The Service, Rooms and Restaurant was over the top. This is our second time staying at the hotel. They give you a glass of champagne upon check in, they carry all of your luggage to your room and then engrave a lovely plaque on your door. The restaurant is 5 Star and the food, service and drinks are top notch. The pool area is lovely and the hotel is adults only, so the pool is nice and quiet. This hotel is perfect for a romantic getaway or a girls trip. I brought my mom and both of my sisters and we did not leave the property. The rooms are beautiful, new and clean and the bathrooms are spacious and luxurious. The have a well stocked mini bar with drinks and snacks. Lovely Nepresso Coffee Maker.

Amazing staff and wonderful rooms! The restaurant is also amazing! Overall 10/10 experience! Definitely recommend for couples!

I stayed here for a week on a work trip. My room was very quaint with lovely boutique touches like mist spray in the bathroom to give the steam room feel and scented pillow sprays. It is hard to comment on the location as it depends on what you have planned in Palm Springs but it’s not too far from shops and restaurants. The bar by the pool was good, the food was delicious and with great portions. It was very clean and included evening turn down service. It had a cute bar in the room with great options as well as snacks. It was strange my name was on the door outside although it was added as a personalised touch. The room also had a small balcony and the view was lovely as the room was up some stairs on a decking. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and the service.
