My friends and I came here for vacation and felt welcomed and well taken care of by the staff. From the moment we arrived, Sebastian—one of the managers—made check-in seamless. He was friendly, professional, and answered all our questions. We also had the pleasure of interacting with James who brought our bags to the room and had great conversation with David at the bar! Pablo and Alex at the front desk were awesome and kind and Dustin the manager as well was also very helpful! We hope to be back again soon, we are from Portland, OR and had to leave the sunshine and return to rain! Thank you to the entire team for making our stay memorable :) Best, Hannah, Leo, and Friends

The woman who checked me in was friendly but didn't tell me any information about where the restaurants were on the property or when they were open. I had to ask about that. I also had to ask later which pools were heated. That information should be on the website. The room was OK, very clean, very quiet but the grout around the tub was cracking and the window didn't close all the way and rattled all night with the high winds. The showerhead was great. They don't offer a laundry bag so I had to ask for one. The worst problem was the heating/cooling in the room!!! As nighttime fell, I wanted to turn off the AC which was blowing very cold air right onto my bed and turn on a little heat. The controls were not working. I called the front desk around 8pm and was on hold and then the system hung up on me. After trying to call repeatedly I walked to the front desk and told the man there is no heat. He asked if "engineering" had been up to the room. I had to repeat that I am JUST NOW telling him that there is no heat. He said he'd send up engineering. A few minutes after getting back to my room, "Sergio" came with a ladder and poked around inside the ceiling of the bathroom, then said the hotel heat is produced by hot water and it's not working, and did I want to change rooms? I told him to tell the front desk and they should call me. "David" from the front desk called me later and said he'd upgrade me to another room in the same bldg, but not trusting the place at this point, I asked for reassurance that there was heat in the other room. He didn't know and said he'd call me back. I packed up all my things and waited 30 minutes. He called and said there is actually no heat in Bldg 4 or 5 and did I want a robe or blanket? What a joke. I asked for housekeeping to bring a blanket and finally got to bed after unpacking once again. I luckily slept really well but the next morning at 9am the front desk called and the young woman said she'd heard that I was having trouble with the heat and did I want engineering to come look at it? I was confused and said I thought Bldg 4 & 5 didn't have heat. She said, "Oh! Someone's already been up there?" She had no idea that someone had come up the previous night. Doesn't anyone talk to each other or make notes in guest's file?? Then she asked if I wanted to move rooms and I said, "Where??" She said she'd have to check and call me back. I told her I was on my way out for the day and hung up. Four hours later, I arrived back to find no message on the room phone from the front desk about my moving rooms, no housekeeping had cleaned my room, and the room was now 81 degrees! I had an uncomfortable night sleeping in the heat and couldn't wait to check out the next morning. Other negatives were half the buttons on the phone didn't work. For example, I tried to contact the spa but the button didn't connect me. I called the front desk, and once again was on hold by the system and then given a number to push for the spa. I pushed it but only got a voice mail from the spa saying they could call me back. I hung up and tried multiple times to sign up for a spa service on the website but it was so difficult and time consuming I gave up. As for food, their tuna tartare and beet salad were delicious. the crab cakes were very good but salty as was the onion soup. I will never stay here again and really hope the management fixes all of these problems.

Went on a business trip with my company. The pool is very nice and big and the staff is super friendly. I inquired about going somewhere and it was a really long walk. The staff lent me their hotel bikes to go and it shortened the time to get there by a lot.

Service was great. The valet was so helpful! We had a baby with us and many belongings, they helped streamline lugging everything to and from the hotel room. Nicholas and Roger were really helpful and attentive. Other highlights include comfortable beds and good food!

We stayed here for the third leg of our honeymoon trip along the West Coast of the USA. Overall, the hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-suited for a one-night stopover on our drive to Las Vegas. However, our experience with the staff and hotel systems was frustrating and inconsistent. On arrival, the receptionist struggled to check us in, which delayed us after a long drive from LA. There was also confusion over the resort fee — even though our booking clearly showed it was included, the staff couldn’t confirm it at first. After showing our documentation, we were eventually checked in. A complimentary welcome drink was offered, which was a nice gesture and helped smooth over the check-in issues. The stay itself was fine — the room was clean, and the drinks we had were enjoyable. But unfortunately, checking out brought more problems: Resort Fee Confusion: We were told again that the resort fee hadn’t been paid and were not allowed to leave until we settled it. After contacting our travel provider (Trailfinders), we went ahead and paid the $25, received a receipt, and were later refunded after the error was confirmed. For fee of $25, alot was made out of it by the hotel. If it wasn't paid, it was the travel company they should have been dealing with considering our documentation showed it was covered. Security Deposit Mishandling: We were told the $100 deposit was just a credit card hold, but it was actually charged. Upon checking out, I was informed it would be refunded in 3–5 working days — but over a week later, the charge was still on my account. I was only recently told today it will now take an additional 10 days to return. It’s a pity because the hotel itself is nice and ideally located for a quick stop on a road trip. But the ongoing issues with payments, poor communication, and the overall lack of trust around deposits would prevent me from staying here again.
