Bristol Panama

This was my first time staying in Panama, and I was there for a work trip. The hotel itself has a lot of character. The common areas are full of paintings by local artists, so it almost feels like staying inside a living art gallery. The service from the front desk staff was great and everyone was very helpful. At the Sal Si Puedes restaurant, the staff was a little more serious, although the overall experience was still good. The hotel also has a small rooftop pool with a solarium area. It’s not very big, but it’s a nice space to relax. The room was very clean, neat, and ready to use when I arrived. Housekeeping did a great job throughout my stay. There are a couple of things that could be improved, especially in the bathroom. The hotel provides bar soap, which I understand is probably a more economical option, but it does make the shower experience feel a little less premium. The shampoo and conditioner dispensers could also use some maintenance or replacement, as some of them were not working properly. One thing to keep in mind is that Panama is very humid, so the room can sometimes have a slightly damp or humid smell. It wasn’t a major issue for me, though, and you get used to it. The location is also convenient. The hotel is around 20–30 minutes from the airport when there is no traffic, and there is a 24-hour minimarket nearby where you can easily pick up supplies. I needed toothpaste and Listerine during my stay, and the store was just a short walk away. Overall, I had a good stay, especially considering I was there for work. The hotel has personality, good service, clean rooms, and a convenient location, with just a few small details that could be improved.

Victor is amazing! I was unsure of the drink I wanted to try at Le Bar Du Bristol but he steered me in the right direction. I ordered the San Blas and it was fruity and refreshing as advertised. I will be staying at the Bristol every time I come to Panama, Lord willing!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this exceptional hotel. I’m sorry to say it’s taking me a long time to write this. We wanted to remark on the excellent service and care of attendants/valet Leo and Gabriel, who truly gave us a five star experience every time we left or entered the hotel. We hope to return to Panama soon and we will definitely make this Hotel a part of that trip.

Stay was amazing. Staff was so nice. Wish we had more time is the only issue I had!!! Just the overall experience was a very memorable one.
