Juan at the front desk is a real gem!

I’m a solo female traveler, and Juan at the front desk was a real gem who helped me feel safe and well taken care of in Panamá City. However, I was disappointed that the pool was closed for remodeling and repairs. It wasn’t a main reason I chose the hotel, but I had planned to relax there reading a book after my long journey back from Guna Yala. This should have been mentioned when I made my reservation.

We really enjoyed the staff at the golden tower. Our room was spacious, stylish, and clean. All the rooms have a beautiful view of the city. We had some killer drinks at the Union Market from Marcos. Try the bell pepper Negroni and the old fashioned. You won’t be disappointed. The salmon poke bowl was memorable too.

In general, the hotel and its employees were excellent. The breakfast was outstanding, offering a wide variety of options, and the omelet was perfect. The server, Ms. Cindy, was very polite and efficient. However, one small issue needs attention: the cleaning crew should be more diligent about addressing small spots on the walls.
