Great hotel
The room was big enough for the 3 of us. Beautiful view. Breakfast had plenty options and the personnel was kind and attentive. The only downside was the bathroom wall. Instead of a concrete wall, it is made of frosted glass, which provides very little privacy when using the shower. While this setup may be ideal for couples, it can feel somewhat uncomfortable when traveling with family members or friends.c

Good, but there are so many good options in Panama
The Las Americas Golden Tower Panama is a nice hotel, but there are many nice hotels in Panama. It does not stand out. The hotel appears to have been built when space was the primary reason to book a room. However, we found (during a 9 day visit) that hot water was inconsistent. There is also no microwave in guest rooms (or available to guests) - which is a big problem in a city filled with restaurants. These two items alone will make me seek a different hotel on future visits to Panama. The rooms are clean. It has nice ammenities, along with local prestige, but hot water and microwaves are important to me.
