We tried the Geisha coffee tasting and it was a incredible experience. The explanations from Marielem and Mayumi make of this a fabulous experience.

An unforgettable stay. The historic building has been restored with remarkable elegance, the location is charming, the gardens are beautiful, and the two restaurants offer distinct styles of cuisine—both absolutely delicious. What impressed us most, though, was the care shown in every detail. The team seemed to anticipate our needs before we even had to ask, and they were exceptionally kind and thoughtful with our 18-month-old. They brought him a coloring book and fresh fruit, which he loved. On our last night, he fell asleep early because of the time difference, right when we were supposed to have dinner. We ordered room service and asked our butler, Carlos, not to ring the doorbell so we wouldn’t wake him. The meal arrived on a beautiful wheeled table, elegantly set and decorated with flowers. Carlos let us know by message, and my husband met the table at the door. We were able to enjoy a delicious dinner for two in our room, with our baby sleeping peacefully just beside us. If you’re traveling with a little one, you can imagine how much that meant to us. We’re incredibly grateful to the whole team for making our trip so special, specially Carlos (butler), Liz (concierge), Anthony, Fernando, Lander, Monica (Caleta), Roberto (Vera Café), and Kathia (House Keeping)

We stayed 4 nights at the Sofitel and it was absolutely glorious. The caring staff, from everyone at the front desk to the restaurants and poolside lounge, were kind, courteous, friendly and just delightful. Our suite was on the ocean and it was clean and well-appointed, with a balcony. The view was spectacular! The beds were comfortable. We look forward to our next trip to stay at this exceptional hotel in the wonderful city of Panama.

We had a fabulous stay at this lovely property. We requested a high floor room with a water view which the hotel kindly gave us. The staff was exceptionally polite and attentive. Special mention goes to our butler, Carlos, and Luisa & Liz on the Concierge Desk. The building is relatively new, and thoughtfully renovated. It has well designed public areas, pool area and gym. The concierge team arranged airport transfers & tours of the Panama Canal, Monkey Island and walking tours of the town with an excellent guide. I would recommend using Uber around town for transport, I don’t think we had more than a 2 minute wait on any of the numerous, quite inexpensive rides. The area is super safe and has lots of little shops around and is 15-20 mins from major shopping malls and excellent restaurants. Breakfast at Caleta, the hotel restaurant ,was very good. We left the hotel as a major fan of the property and its staff.
