My experience staying at Sofitel was beyond any of my expectations and I'd recommend 100%. 10/10 experience across the board. Angelique, Carlos, Deslher, Orlando from the Butler service and the entire staff for making this stay so special. The team went above and beyond for me multiple times and never failed at filling a request. was needed and absolutely appreciated.

My wife and I stayed here for three nights on our month-long vacation to South America and Antarctica. We had never been to Panama City before, and wanted to see it. Also, it’s a natural stopover between Colorado (where we live) and major South American cities such as Santiago, which was our next destination. This hotel is in the heart of the historic neighborhood, Casco Viejo, and has quite a storied history. Be sure to go on the offered hotel tour at 5:30 daily to learn of the background and events which shaped this property. The service is so good here. EVERYONE smiles and aims to please. The room we had was large, included a balcony and courtyard view, and had a large bathroom with a shower that had the best water pressure I’ve ever experienced. The rooms are quiet and beautifully decorated, as is the entire hotel public space. Breakfast was included, though not a buffet. We found it of high quality. Panama City itself is worth a visit at least once in your life. We enjoyed it!

Perfect location. The hotel was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. I believe it was built in 1917...it has the old feel with all the new amenities Glamorous but casual at the same time. The people can't do enough! Get the breakfast included. This hotel is right on the ocean. Our room was 323
