About the Hotel

Consistently named one of the top hotels in Central America since its opening in 2011, Trump International Hotel & Tower Panama is an unmistakable part of Panama City’s waterfront. There’s a better way to enjoy its unique curved architecture than from the outside, however: Book a 17th floor Suite on the Curve, and scope a fishbowl view of the city and ocean from floor-to-ceiling windows and a private balcony. Décor in the hotel is bright and fun, with a decidedly Latin American flair, and its location just off Corredor Sur makes it convenient to anywhere in Panama City.

Reviews for Trump International Hotel & Tower Panama

Expected better from a JW Marriott

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

Hotel was overall nice, and in a good location. Had a few issues during the stay. First, there was a lot of construction/renovation going on in the hotel, with a lot of construction noise. Secondly, we requested a late check-out for a later flight. We called the front desk, asked to check out at 1pm, and they said we could stay until Noon. Fine. But when we got to the front desk at Noon, with our stuff packed, they asked if we wanted to stay in the room until we left for the airport at 1pm. Suddenly it is available after we packed up and vacated? Lastly, we got charged $50 for a tiny bottle of wine from the mini-bar. Shocked at checkout. She asked if there was a price list in the room, I said there was not and I would have never opened it for that price, and it was just charged as-is. Guess I should have known better. Could have been a great stay, but we definitely expected more/better from a JW Marriott.

Amazing staff!!

I have enjoyed my time here at the hotel, they are consistent with keeping the rooms cleaned, staff from the restaurants to the bars are excellent (especially Neliño from Masi, Emmanuel and Stevenson from Cava 15, and Cele from the pool/bar), and the food and drinks never disappoint! Thank you for warm Hospitality!

An amazing, personal, friendly stay that made us feel welcomed!

My husband and I spent everyday day at Azul the pool/ bar area. We met several personnel that truly made our stay at the JW Marriott the best ever. Amelia was the first special person we met. We are very into our sports and our Cleveland Ohio team were in the playoffs. Amelio found the channel so that we could watch at the pool bar. He even got excited when our team was winning. We ate and had drinks and he was very attentive and fun. My husband even gave him his Indians shirt off his back. Amelio and Michelle reciprocated the next day with Cleveland bracelets that his family made in blue and red which are our team colors. What a special gift we will both wear during our baseball season. It put a smile in our hearts. Michelle was so kind, always smiling and I watched her interact with her team as a leader and as a team member. She was a working leader. We ate breakfast for 3 mornings in the Masi restaurant. Again we met Elisa Rios and Fernanda Garcia. They made you feel welcome and at home. Fernanda remembered our names every morning and was always smiling. Elisa sent us off with an amazing brown bag lunch when we told her we were going on a tour of old town. And I loved the lady that squirted the birds away. Nothing worse than birds annoying you while we were eating. She squirted them before we even saw them. The food was delicious and there was an amazing variety of food. We loved the beautiful scenery outside on the patio. Our room was great. Loved the patio and the view from our room. Our housekeeper was amazing. She always went up and above to keep our room clean and she left us special gifts ie chocolate candy, friendly notes, and sculptured our towels into special art forms. She put our shoes on a towel and arranged my makeup area with a towel under it. She took great effort into pleasing us and was always smiling. I hope I spell her name correctly Ehia Caisomo.

Great stay for 4 days

The hotel is great! Rooms & bathroom are nice. The beds are comfortable. The partial ocean view + pool view is nice. The hotel is not in walking distance of too much of anything but the hotel has many food options that are priced well and tasty. Ubers from the hotel to most places were under $15.
