El Mangroove, Autograph Collection

We had an amazing experience at El Mangroove. We came to check out the property for our wedding in 2027 and are excited to get married here next year! We loved how friendly everyone was. All of the staff remembered our names, and Henry and Kervin took such great care of us by the pool! We were never without a drink in our hands. The property is very relaxing, and we loved the hotel beds. We slept so well! Excited to come back.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the hotel is charming, peaceful, and has a beautiful setting. Our room worked perfectly for our family of four, and our teenage kids loved the pool and the chance to kayak in the bay. On the beach, we also saw monkeys and iguanas, which was a wonderful experience. After reading several good reviews about Nomadtourscr, we decided to book the Buena Vista Adventure tour. It turned out to be a fantastic experience for our family. Ronald, our guide, was amazing and shared so much interesting information about Costa Rica. We were able to do ziplining, hot springs, and many other activities all in one day. We highly recommend this hotel and also nomad, who made the planning process very easy.

From the moment we arrived at El Mangrove, we felt genuinely welcomed. The hotel staff was warm, friendly, and incredibly accommodating — the kind of hospitality that instantly makes you feel valued and at home. The food did not disappoint either. Every morning we enjoyed homemade bread and freshly baked danishes, and on our first night there was a staff cocktail hour where we had the chance to meet the managers. That simple gesture set the tone for the entire stay — from that day forward, we truly felt like family. Housekeeping was exceptional, especially the turndown service, which was thoughtful, detailed, and added such a comforting touch to the evenings. We did several excursions with different companies during our trip and loved every single one, so on our last day we planned to just relax by the pool and beach. But at the last minute, we decided to take a jet ski tour at El Mangrove— and we’re so glad we did. Every tour we had done so far was amazing, but the jet ski experience with El Mangrove surpassed them all. Words can’t describe the beauty we witnessed. The boat tour the day before was incredible, but with the jet skis we went deeper into the bay, stopped at caves, visited a secluded private beach, and snorkeled in complete peace with no one else around. It felt like our own secret paradise. Our guides, David and Estabar, were phenomenal — fun, attentive, and incredibly caring with our children. They made sure our kids saw the wildlife up close and in the most magical way. They didn’t just guide us; they treated us like family. It truly was the cherry on top of our entire vacation. Thank you, El Mangrove, for taking care of us in every possible way. Your kindness, warmth, and hospitality made our stay unforgettable. We are so grateful — and we will absolutely be back on our next trip.
