Reviews for Hilton Hotel Tahiti

Mostly it is a beautiful hotel but need to improve services in restaurants, lounge access, & have sanitizing stations.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 20 hours ago

Nice impressive hotel. Beautiful Polynesian theme decor and amenities. Clean and comfortable spacious room with ample balcony. Sunsets are amazing, and entertainment every day was a plus. What I didn’t like is that there are no areas or stations for sanitizing hands especially at each restaurant and for Buffett. I saw one person holding loaf of bread with his hands and cutting bread. The lounge at hotel is a genius idea and comfortable however, people monopolize seats with their unattended luggage and walk away for hours preventing others from benefitting of the comfortable seats. There must be a way to control this anomaly from selfish customers. The lounge is for travelers who need the service not for someone to leave their bags on chairs.

Excellent transit hotel.

Really nice transit hotel. I stayed here for just half a day, before taking a very late flight, and it was perfect for that. You can walk to the nearby shopping mall, which includes a Carrefour. Ideal for last minute shopping if you're leaving, or for getting some supplies (e.g. snacks) before heading to other islands. In addition to the Carrefour you can also walk to a nearby Super U store (Carrefour competitor), which you're not going to find on Google Maps though - just walk towards the airport, for about 7 minutes. The room + bathroom were impeccably clean, and the balcony had a very nice view of the swimming pool and the ocean. The swimming pool looked very nice, but I didn't use it. The hotel grounds seemed very clean and well groomed, and you can watch a beautiful sunset over Moorea from the hotel's pontoon. The front desk lady was really nice, both at check-in and check-out. The hotel is very close to the airport (10 minutes) but if you have luggage you'll need to pay about 500 XPF ($5) for each, so the total cost was about $20-25 equivalent, each way. Make sure you have enough cash for that. I won't hesitate to stay here next time.

Another great stay

We love this beautiful hotel conveniently located near the airport. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. Our rooms ( we spent 2 separate nights there) are clean and well appointed. The food is excellent and we love ending our trips here!

La Strada - Tiramisu by Jessica

Love this Hilton. Had dinner at La Strada the Italian restaurant at the Hilton. Superb. Service was very friendly and efficient. Prisca, Fleur were excellent and Jessica’s preparation table side of the tiramisu was a delight. All while overlooking the lagoon with fish circling underneath. Throughly recommend.

Fantastic transit hotel in Tahiti

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We are booked to stay in this hotel both before and after a cruise in French Polynesia. It is ideally located between the airport and cruise terminal. The hotel has great buildings and a large pool area. It has no over water rooms, accommodation is in various blocks. We had a garden room with a side view of the sea. It has multiple restaurants, each with its own theme. We ate in the Italian and Polynesian restaurants. Service was friendly and food was tasty. The breakfast buffets were fantastic. We had breakfast at weekends where brunch was being advertised, which may explain the wider choices. On Saturday there were pizza and pasta sections, on Sunday - seafood and roast meats.
