Hilton Hotel Tahiti

We stayed at Hilton Tahiti twice during our recent trip — first for two nights and then again for one night — and there were definitely some highlights worth mentioning. The hotel upgraded us to the Residence Suite, which was a wonderful surprise and truly elevated our stay. The suite was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. The pool area is beautiful, and the views from the property are fantastic, especially at sunset. These positive touches made our stay enjoyable. However, there were a few issues that left us disappointed. Despite being a Hilton Gold member, we were informed that breakfast benefits would not be honored because our booking was made through a third party. I understand policy, but it felt a bit discouraging, especially given our loyalty status and the otherwise generous upgrade. The bigger concern is related to billing and refunds. For the first stay, I was charged again at checkout even though payment had already been made through the travel agent. I checked out on November 30th, and as of today, I still haven’t received that refund. During our second stay, another authorization hold was placed, yet I have not received the refund for that stay either. These delays and duplicate charges have caused unnecessary inconvenience and stress during and after our trip. Overall, the property itself is lovely and the upgrade was appreciated, but the billing experience and lack of clarity around Gold benefits prevented this from being the seamless Hilton stay we were hoping for. I’m looking forward to the refund being processed soon and hope the hotel improves these areas for future guests.

The people who work the front desk were the absolute best! So accommodating when we arrived early for check in around noon. They let us know where the waiting lounge was and there was a shower available we could use to freshen up while we waited for our room. They also will hold onto luggage and deliver them to your room when it becomes available. We opted to wait on the patio and had drinks looking out into the pool area and ocean. The rooms are spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean, and the patio looking out to the ocean was nice. The highlight of the hotel was the mall/grocery store access. If we needed anything it was a quick 5 minute walk across a skywalk. Parking was a little confusing and I did have to approach the car park office a couple of times so we could get the gate to lift for us to enter the parking area. The only real gripe I had was with how grumpy the bar staff were. They absolutely gave the vibe that they would rather be anywhere but there. Which was sad for us since we did receive some of our drinks wrong and waited for a long time at the swim up bar for our drinks.

Location good, king room excellent views of the surrounding area. Good bathroom toiletries, big comfortable bed. 4 restaurants to choose from. Amazing pool. Kind, considerate and efficient hotel employees .

Well kept resort, very friendly staff and the grocery store/strip mall is accessible via a sky bridge. 5 minute taxi from airport

Lovely hotel in a convenient location with enchanting ocean views and of Moorea across the channel. Also very close to a shopping mall that included a pharmacie. Restaurants are generally good, though a dinner order was delayed 30 minutes to the kitchen. Their breakfast buffet is grossly overpriced - $53 per person! An Island Night Tahitian dance and music group was wonderful. Front desk personnel verpharmacies. I would recommend.
