The Cove at Atlantis

Fun experience! There was more to do than we had time to do. Appreciated the many many restaurants. Good Lies was a fun mini golf and going at the beginning of September was perfect because we had the whole place to ourselves.

The location and scenery at The Cove at Atlantis were stunning, with incredible views and impressive architecture throughout the resort. The staff was warm, polite, and consistently friendly whenever we passed by. Our Deluxe Ocean View room had a wonderful outdoor balcony, but unfortunately, we experienced persistent air conditioning issues throughout our stay. The room temperature never dropped below 72°F. After two days, maintenance attempted to fix it and adjusted the thermostat, but leaving it set low overnight made no difference. We eventually moved to a new room, but encountered the exact same issue with temperatures remaining around 72–73°F. Management provided a $100 resort credit for the inconvenience, which was appreciated, though the cooling issue seems to be a widespread problem. Additionally, the in-room mini-fridge only cooled to 50°F, which was unsafe for dairy products, though staff did quickly bring a secondary mini-fridge upon request. While our 5-night room stay was complimentary through Caesars Rewards (bringing our total resort credit to $500 with the extra $100), the food prices were exceptionally high, requiring an additional $200 out-of-pocket beyond our credits. Overall, we enjoyed our time, but between the severe A/C issues and the extremely high cost of food, we will likely explore other, less expensive Bahamian islands in the future rather than returning to Atlantis.

Great stay, but we’ll stick with The Reef next time We love Atlantis and decided to stay at The Cove this time since it’s billed as the property’s premier resort. The hospitality here is truly top-notch. I was disappointed with our initial room at check-in, but the staff worked quickly and tirelessly to move us into a much better option. What We Loved Spacious Layout: The room itself is huge, featuring a sunken living area that was ideal for unwinding after a long day in the sun, along with a massive bathroom and a bonus walk-in closet. Thoughtful Extras: The complimentary canvas tote, flip-flops, and upgraded water bottles were a lovely high-end touch. Where It Fell Short Amenities & Tech: There were no bathrobes in the room, which was surprising for a luxury property. The coffee makers should really be updated to Nespresso machines instead of Keurigs, and the TVs desperately need an upgrade to Smart TVs so families can stream Netflix for the kids. Balcony & View: While the grounds around The Cove are gorgeous, the balconies are noticeably smaller than those at The Reef, and we actually prefer the angle of the ocean view from The Reef. The Verdict The Cove is a beautiful property with outstanding service, but for our family, the bottom line is that we’ll head back to The Reef on our next visit. We missed having a full kitchen area, the larger balcony, the better ocean view, and the convenience of having Starbucks right in the lobby.

Love the resort, terrible service. I stayed at the Cove which is suppose to be the nice part however never had hot water my entire trip with no resolution after multiple calls.

Love going to the cove, but the Cove pool is under construction so there might be some noise, but the other pool is nice
