Don at the Hearth ‘61 was absolutely fabulous and the definition of luxury. He truly made the experience memorable. Pool was lovely.

The resort is visually beautiful and the setting is stunning, but our stay came with several frustrations that I feel future guests should know about. We visited on a birthday trip and were looking forward to a relaxing, quiet experience. Unfortunately, large events held on both Friday and Saturday evenings made several lounge areas inaccessible due to overcrowding. I specifically paid extra for a balcony room to enjoy the views and some peace and quiet — instead, we were met with loud music and party noise both nights. The complimentary birthday drink tickets were a thoughtful gesture, but we weren’t able to use them until our last night once the crowds had finally cleared. The most troubling issue involved our mini bar. We returned to our room on Saturday evening to find that a Coke we had planned to enjoy was no longer there. I reported it to the front desk immediately. Despite being told a note would be made so I wouldn’t be charged, I was billed for both the Coke and a Snickers bar at checkout — neither of which we consumed. The charge was eventually cleared, but the situation raises a real concern: if items are being removed from mini bars, what’s to stop someone from removing personal belongings? The resort may be a good fit for those seeking a lively, event-driven atmosphere, but I would not recommend it for anyone looking for a quiet getaway or who has concerns about room security.

This is a gorgeous resort, clean pools and beautiful views. The valet, front staff, restaurant workers, cleaning staff, everyone was so friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t say the resort is aimed at kids but our 5 year old had a blast and nobody made us feel like we shouldn’t be there with kids. The food was phenomenal! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner you have delicious options to choose from.
