The best contemporary hotel and resort in Phoenix/Scottsdale
Lovely property with sleek charm while still maintaining the vibe of classic hospitality. This hotel is about 65 years old but you would never know that if you are a rookie at Mountain Shadows. Flawless and friendly staff in all my interactions. Esmeralda was a great knowledgeable server in Hearth 61 and the bartenders are pro too. Sweeping views and a great golf course. You just do not find this experience in 2026 in many places. You will be surrounded by rustic hospitality and want to live here! Or at least at the next door condos. All staff from the bottom to the top is A 1 and 5 Stars. Love it.

10/10 Recommend going to Yoga and Pilates!!
My friends and I are on a staycation and we did yoga and mat Pilates and both were so good! We got great workouts and they left us feeling refreshed! Cortney was our instructor for both classes and she is incredible! Highly recommend going to the fitness classes during your stay!

Cortney with daily breath yoga had great classes! We did yoga and mat Pilates and they were great! She was very sweat and was great at teaching! The gym was beautiful!
