Mountain Shadows Resort Scottsdale

The VIBE at this resort is outstanding! Super cool and super friendly. Everyone on the staff made us feel so welcome, from the valet to the front desk to housekeeping, WELL DONE! Amazing views, amazing pools, amazing rooms, amazing food and an amazing Par 3 golf course. WOW. A throwback to simpler times. If you're thinking about staying here...BOOK IT.

Love this hotel! Bride it being beautiful and a great vibe, the service was top notch. We came for business and had some big changes in our plans due to weather and the hotel staff was so helpful and accommodating. This led to us to pivot and hold revised meetings pulled together on a few hours notice. It was so great to have a responsive, friendly team on our side. I also enjoyed the reformer Pilates class with Patti. So great to get classes included with a resort stay!

I had the pleasure of staying at Mountain Shadows this past weekend and felt compelled to write a review (something I rarely do). We were in town for a wedding and booked through American Express. We were greeted by the front desk warmly, with helpful tidbits, overview of amenities etc... the kind of welcome that leaves you not overwhelmed, but more so excited for your stay. We were shown to our room (in the residences area of the resort), and were blown away by the room. It was large, open, clean, well appointed, but felt very approachable. We dropped our bags and went to the bar to have a drink... duh. The bartenders were friendly, informative, and set us up with something delicious. Throughout the rest of our stay we visited the walking paths, pool, short course, restaurants, and gym -- all easy to access, all enjoyable. We don't typically spoil ourselves, but Mountain Shadows and their staff made it easy to do so -- we'll be back and really appreciated the staff for their kindness and attention during our stay... if you're on the fence for whatever reason, climb over and give it a try, we don't think you'll be disappointed.

My longtime friend and I live on opposite coasts but met up for a 3-night girls trip in mid October. Mountain Shadows was perfect for us. The pool is awesome. Kevin took exceptional care of us poolside all 3 days. The pool menu is delicious, the drinks were spot on and tropical, and the view of Camelback from the pool is beautiful. The pool area is very clean and the chairs are really comfortable. Kevin made sure we felt looked after and went above and beyond each day; he recommended places to see in town, he kept adjusting our umbrella to match the sun’s movement, he even got me hot coffee from the restaurant when they don’t serve it at the pool. Just little “extra mile” things that felt resort-special on our getaway. The rooms and grounds are spotlessly clean. There was a wedding each day of our trip and we enjoyed watching the set up of those beautiful events. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant twice which was tasty and convenient. I’m sure we will return.

We had a fantastic experience with Dom and Sandra during our visit to the Mountain Shadows resort and pool. They were both incredibly attentive and friendly, and their service truly brightened our day during an unusually overcast Paradise Valley day. They offered excellent recommendations and even brought us additional menus from the onsite restaurant so we had more options to choose from. The food and drinks were excellent and Highly recommend a visit to Mountain Shadows for their service!
