Castille Paris

Beautiful Hotel, in a central location near Place Vendome , on Rue Cambon near flagship Channel Store. It is a smaller Hotel but nevertheless a 5 Star. Our experience was wonderful: Hotel is beautiful, clean, classy, with all the modern amenities. Breakfast was great. Staff was welcoming, courteous, friendly….with one exception : a young lady from front desk made a point to tell me that I shouldn’t have the complimentary glass of champagne until after my check in was completed. However, everything else was wonderful! Highly recommended!

We told our travel agent we wanted to stay at a 5-star hotel in Paris, and she didn't disappoint. Castille was a very elegant, boutique hotel in close proximity to literally every major French designer's retail space. ..Chanel was right next door! Staff was very accommodating, from front desk to concierge to doorman to housekeeping. Always a smile and a Bonjour. The room was on the small side, as other reviewers had said, but our balcony (drenched in geraniums) was delightful. The dining areas and bar were very elegant and casual at the same time. The buffet breakfast was extensive ( even a chocolate fountain and treats table for "the kids".) Snacks and drinks at the cozy bar were a perfect way to wind down after a very busy day of sight seeing.

We arrived at the hotel today whilst spending the weekend in Paris for my wife’s birthday. Despite the friendly receptionists, the hotel is in dire need of refurbishment. Our room is extremely disappointing in both size and quality. We expected far more and will be trying to move next door tomorrow if they allow us to leave a day early. The room smells and is generally very shabby. Not what we expected of a five start Parisian hotel. Overall, we’re very disappointed and feel very let down.

This is a very well established and beautifully appointed and cared for hotel in the heart of Paris. It was spotlessly clean and very cozy. Rooms were on the small side but beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was adequate. Staff are excellent and very gracious. Breakfast is served in a beautiful room overlooking a charming courtyard and offers a wonderful selection of both hot and cold items, fresh fruits and juices. The coffee is delicious . I loved staying here and felt very welcome, very cared for and comfortable. Beautiful place. Highly recommend.

The Castille has an excellent location and staff. Service is very prompt and friendly. The location a block away from Place Vandome is great. A short walk to Place de la Concorde and the Metro. Also in the center of the high end shopping district. Physically the hotel could use a refresher, which is why I didn't give a higher score. The rooms are a bit odd and shop worn. The breakfast buffet and the breakfast room are both excellent with a wide variety of offerings. The lobby cat - Capucine - is very cute and adds a welcoming touch to the overall ambiance of the reception area
