Grand Hotel du Palais Royal

This was our second visit to this wonderful hotel. Its location is perfect, easily accessible to key museums and gardens, within walking distance to charming neighborhoods, the Palais Royal, Opera, Louvre, Saint-Germain-des-Pres, the Seine and on. The staff are warm, friendly and helpful, eager to make your visit special. I couldn’t wait to come back after our first visit and look forward to our third. Just steps away from the hotel are cozy restaurants, boulangeries and fantastic shopping. This hotel has it all: ideal location, fantastic staff, desirable lodging and a charming cafe.

A wonderful hotel with a great location. The hotel is charming and intimate. The concierge and staff were so accommodating and friendly. They arranged an impromptu birthday celebration for us which was just perfect. They took care of all the details quickly and with a Parisienne flair. It was a just a perfect stay and I would highly recommend it. We have been to Paris several times and just loved this hotel.

If you want to be pampered in Paris from dawn ’til dusk, then the Grand Hotel Du Palais Royale is the place to stay. We were in Paris for 5 days after a 5 day tour of Normandy, the D Day beaches, American Cemetery and Mont St. Michel. The Palais Royale is right behind the Louvre, so centrally located. The rooms and bathrooms are modern and comfortable and were cleaned to perfection each day. The staff is truly amazing! The waitstaff for breakfast welcomed us every morning with a smile, wonderful coffee and croissants! The concierge made dinner reservations for us upon our arrival for the four nights we were in Paris. All of the restaurants were within walking distance of 10 minutes or less and we experienced wonderful French cuisine each evening. We walked 5 minutes to the Tuileries Gardens of the Louvre on the first afternoon from our hotel. One excellent service that they offer is that you can exchange US dollars for Euros at the front desk at a very favorable exchange rate with no fees.

After a long day of travel, we were warmly greeted by the front desk and the Chef Concierge- who I had been corresponding with prior to our trip. The team went out of their way to make our anniversary special with a thoughtful touch in our room. We loved our suite which has spectacular views and had a great experience in the dining room with their attentive staff- thank you Karin and Julie! The hotel is in a fabulous location- walking distance to most areas of Paris that we wanted to see. It is however on a quiet side street which allowed for a very peaceful stay- we were amazed at how quiet our room was in a busy city like Paris. A special thanks to Christopher, Francine and the 2 other colleagues that made our trip so wonderful. They are the ambassadors of the hotel with their desk right in the middle of the lobby- greeting guests as they come and go and always offering to be of assistance. Their commitment to the guest experience was apparent throughout our stay. The Grand Hotel du Palais is truly a gem in the heart of Paris and I would highly recommend it for guests that appreciate a small refined hotel experience.

What a wonderful boutique hotel with amazing staff, particularly Germain & Christopher two great concierge, thank you for extraordinary effort! Breakfast every morning was delicious. We give this lovely hotel and entire staff a 10 out of 10. We hope to return next year!😊
