Small Hotel; Large Suite
We stayed three nights at the Grand Hôtel du Palais Royal at the end of a cruise, booking through the SLH program, and were fortunate to receive a suite upgrade. The location is hard to beat, directly across from the Palais Royal and just a short walk to the Louvre. The hotel itself is small and intimate, while our upgraded suite was surprisingly spacious, with a large bedroom, living/sitting room, and 1.5 baths. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent throughout. The concierge was particularly helpful with lunch and dinner recommendations. The attached café and another café in the courtyard also made for convenient spots to enjoy a drink or a quick bite. Our only real criticism was the nightly rate, which felt a bit high. Given how little time we spent in the room, we would have gladly traded some of that extra space for a lower rate. Still, the location, service, and overall experience made this a very enjoyable stay in Paris.

Great stay in heart of Paris
Great location with welcoming staff. Quaint boutique hotel with clean rooms, an amazing restaurant, bar area and they also have a fitness room and spa (I didnt use these but looked nice). Would definitely stay here again.

A memorable stay!
An excellent hotel in an ideal location. In spite of its proximity to the Louvre, it was quiet. The staff are outstanding, always greeting us with a broad smile and "bonjour." The room was spacious and quite comfortable. And the daily continental breakfast was perfect.

The hotel staff steals the show
Everyone, from the moment that we walked through the door made us feel welcomed and a home. The front desk, the concierge, and the staff at the restaurant/bar area were very helpful and accommodating. I really don't see how they could have done a better job. The hotel is wonderful, but the employees make the Grand Hotel du Palais Royal outstanding. Thanks to all of you! Joe and Barbara
