Hotel Balzac Paris is in the heart of the City of Light. Parisian-chic design, a vibrant color palette and soft lighting drape this property—part of the LVX collection of Preferred Hotels & Resorts—in warm elegance, setting the tone for an exceptional experience. Built for the director of the Paris Opera in 1853, this deluxe townhouse-style boutique hums with the French art de vivre, serving as a plush sanctuary for rest and relaxation and a central headquarters for your Parisian holiday. Honoré de Balzac, the prolific and influential writer for whom the hotel is named, once made his home on the site, and collections of antique books and lithographs depicting the author and scenes from his work adorn the property. 13 suites and 57 rooms marry opulent details like oak-floored entrances and marble bathrooms to state-of-the-art technology, including LCD televisions, cable and internet access. Romantic skyline views of the exquisite Eiffel Tower from the third floor up are available by special request.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Balzac. I came to celebrate my Birthday. The hotel is excellent and strives to be the best it can be. The staff is wonderful. They greet you as soon as you enter the hotel with warmth. My room was impressive and was painted my favorite color for home decor. I would not hesitate to stay here again. The hotel is immaculate which I really liked also. The bedding is outstanding. Kudos to Housekeeping.

My wife and I were initially disappointed to find a slight cigarette smell in our room. When we mentioned it, Enzo didn't just offer a swap — he upgraded us to a higher category room at no extra charge. That kind of attentive, guest-first approach is rare and truly appreciated. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, elegantly decorated, and the entire team is courteous and welcoming. We will absolutely be returning on our next visit to Paris — merci, Enzo!

We just returned from Paris and spent six nights at the Hotel Balzac. Even before our stay the concierge was so helpful with making our dinner reservations for us. We received immediate responses and updates when our reservations were confirmed. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. It had one of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in and was the perfect place to dream after a full and wonderful day exploring this amazing city. The location of the Balzac can not be beat. It is a block off the Champs d’Elysee and many major attractions are walkable from there. While walking you are able to appreciate the magnificent architecture of Paris, the grandeur of which takes your breath away. Finally, can not say enough about the staff at the Balzac. Everyone we met was friendly and friendly. We highly recommend the Hotel Balzac. It is difficult to imagine a better place to stay in Paris. We thank everyone for making our stay perfect. Our stay at the hotel was wonderful, but what truly made it exceptional was Jahid. His approach was outstanding, he was incredibly helpful with everything, offered valuable advice, and recommended amazing restaurants in Paris. Such a high level of professionalism is rare to find nowadays, and for that reason, we can highly recommend this hotel.
