Hotel Balzac Paris

All I can say it was amazing stay , the service is amazing and staff are exceptional

If I could give an infinite number of stars, I would. The service is exceptional! The hotel is beautiful. It is in a wonderful location and I will be recommending to all!

The location of the hotel provides convenient access to Paris landmarks and to the metro. The staff were generally very nice and friendly. Room service arrived over an hour and a half later (and only after we called the front desk to check on the order- the staff did comp dessert to try and remedy part of the issue). However, the room did not meet expectations. The marble in the bathroom emanated an unpleasant smell throughout the entire room. During one night of our stay, the hotel conducted loud maintenance from 12 am to 4 am, disrupting our sleep.

I stayed at the hotel for a week. The location is excellent, just a few meters from the Champs-Élysées. The cleanliness appears very good at first glance, but if you look closely at the cleanliness of the room, it falls below expectations. The service is very poor—among the worst room services I have experienced. Even four-star hotels provide much better service. The breakfast is average, but the room service is poor and the food has no taste. The small restaurants outside the hotel are much better. First of all, they bring the food uncovered, which is unacceptable. And every time we order food, we have to remind them to bring salt and pepper, and they always forget something and have to come back once or twice. It is not worth the price paid, and I do not recommend it. The staff are friendly and treat guests well.

We stayed at Hôtel Balzac for eight nights and absolutely loved it. The hotel is beautifully designed, intimate and elegant, in a great location in the 8th and easy to access all of Paris. What sets the Balzac apart is the exceptional staff, who made us feel completely at home and helped with everything from restaurant reservations to our son’s move into his Paris residence. Céline was incredibly gracious in making sure our rooms worked well for our family, and Adrien and the concierge team went above and beyond at every turn. The rooms were lovely, the lounge is cozy and lush, and the entire hotel feels more like a chic private Parisian home than a traditional city hotel. We have stayed in Paris many times, and the warmth and personal service here were truly memorable. We would return without hesitation. 10 out of 10.
