A warm atmosphere in the heart of Paris!
We stayed at this hotel during our trip to Paris and were absolutely delighted! The location is perfect: in the very center of the city, within walking distance of the main attractions, cafes and shops. I would like to separately mention the staff - incredibly friendly, attentive and always ready to help. We were greeted with a smile, quickly checked in, told where to have dinner and what to see nearby. The room was cozy, clean, with a pleasant interior and everything you need for a comfortable stay. We will definitely come back here again and would be happy to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for quality service and a warm atmosphere in the heart of Paris!

1st stay at Hotel Balzac
The overall feel of the property and room is fine: good design, clean and qualitative. However, the experience of our 3-day stay was disappointing due to "sloppiness" and lack in the attention of detail. Some examples: - fresh bath towels not provided - no turndown service during the stay - non-functioning in-room phone only fixed on 2nd day - ad-hoc replenishment of in-room water and coffee capsules - 15 minute wait at breakfast to place the order For a 3* property the above would be tolerable, but for a 4* property with elevated pricing, this should not happen. We will not be returning.

Gorgeous Property and Exceptional Team!
The hotel is gorgeous!, The rooms are impeccably appointed, the common areas are truly beautiful. Bar, reception area, breakfast/lounge area all quite luxury in the best possible way. Every member of the team is attentive, responsive, knowledgeable and caring. I have been coming to Paris for decades and have stayed in many lovely hotels - Hotel Balzac ranks at the very top. It somehow provides all the amenities of a much larger luxury hotel while retaining the charm and personal connection of a smaller/boutique hotel. After ordering breakfast on our first morning my coffee preferences were remembered and we were greeted by everyone in such lovely and welcoming way.
