Everything about this boutique hotel is refreshingly different. Ideally located between the Café de Flore and Deux Magots, it's heart beats in rhythm with Saint Germain des Prés. Hotel Bel Ami exceeded my expectations. Very friendly staff, very comfortable and modern room. Big bathroom with a tub. The staff found out it was my birthday and went out of their way to make me feel special. It is my new go to place in Paris! It is located in a great neighborhood that is very quiet but close to multiple great restaurants and shopping. I will be back soon!!

The hotel is wonderful and in an amazing part of Paris, surrounded by a number of fantastic restaurants, stores, and historical attractions. The hotel employees were all very welcoming and kind, and provided terrific assistance with taxis, restaurant reservations and securing a doctor when one of our children became ill and needed prescription cold medicine. We checked out early in the morning before breakfast service started, and the wonderful staff brought us coffee and croissants to enjoy on the trip to the airport. My only quibble is that we had pre-paid for our rooms and breakfasts for three days, but we were still charged about 350 Euros upon departure for a series of Tourists Taxes, Employee Contributions, and Service Fees. Maybe this is common in European hotels, although our luxury hotel in London had no such extraneous fees. Still, other than this one setback, the hotel, staff, and location cannot be beat. And anyone who thinks the French are rude are simply wrong--we had nothing but wonderful interactions with the Parisians we met.

Cannot fault this hotel. Bright, clean design. Staff were all smiling, cheerful and helpful. Excellent breakfast buffet. We would certainly recommend it.

This was my first trip to France. Had a lovely time at the Hotel Bel Ami. Great location in Paris close to shopping, bistros, and markets. Breakfast at hotel is also amazing. Will definitely do a repeat stay when I come back to Paris.

My wife and I stayed here for just 2 nights. Had a warm welcome from Patrick at check in desk who was very helpful in recommending some great restaurants that were not typically touristy. The concierge was helpful in showing us the best way to travel the metro to visit the places we wanted to go that weren't close by. The hotel is in a great location for lots of attractions within walking distance and just a short metro ride from Guarde de Norde train station. Room was clean and well equipped with toiletries and coffee machine. We did not eat here as we ate out , so I cannot comment on the food. I would definitely recommend the hotel and would stay again if I am ever in Paris again.
