Three garden terraces turn the Hotel du Collectionneur into an oasis just north of the Champs-Elysees. The hotel's glamorous Art Deco style is inspired by transatlantic cruise liners of the 1930s – green marble, antiques and elaborate period prints adorn the hallways, and top floor rooms have small balconies from which to behold the city below. Sip on absinthe in an alcove at the glitzy Purple Bar, watching life go by on Rue de Courcelles.

I shortlisted Du Collectioneur and then booked it through Eurostar. In all ways it exceeded my expectations - décor, comfort, service and accommodation. Well located in the 8th, a short walk from the restaurants we wished to visit and the Arc de Triomphe. When in Paris we will revisit.

Beautiful hotel. I was upgraded on arrival from a deluxe to a prestige room. I requested a room with a bathtub and was given one. The breakfast was delicious, the bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. Staff were lovely. Not that near a metro but the area felt v safe and I actually enjoyed the c.10 min walk to Courcelles or Sainte Phillipe du Roule. Would recommend.

We booked this hotel because we wanted to have a good time in Paris, but when we got to the hotel, we found out that the pool and spa were not working. The phone in our room was also not working due to which one night when we had ordered food through Uber eats it could not reach us because the Uber eats asked the reception to contact us as if food was being delivered, and the hotel did not bother to inform us because the phone in our room was not working and they were aware of that and they did not bother to text me on my phone and we ended up staying hungry that night and the staff was so rude. They did not help us.

Just had a 4 night stay at this hotel and quite honestly it wasn’t worth the money, The room was ok just ok !!!!! Our duvet cover was ripped and the heating stroke air conditioning wasn’t working, upon reporting it a engineer came to the room and just said it was broken and sent a small radiator to the room NOT 5* treatment we was hoping for . Out of the 4 days there was ever only 2 out of 4 lifts working and the other 2 was a bit shaky, I’m sorry to say we won’t be returning.

We had a great time staying at the hotel. Traveling with kids you want to make sure that the hotel is comfortable. Truly recommend the hotel! Staff is very helpful and accommodating.
