Hotel du Louvre Paris, a Hyatt Hotel

Overpriced. For what you pay, you shouldn't have to compromise on basic features. It sits above the METRO and you experience the rumbling every time the train goes through. Across the street from the Louvre, so the surrounding area is mobbed with tourists.

If you are on the fence, let this be your sign to BOOK THIS HOTEL. We had a phenomenal experience at the Hotel du Louvre, from the moment we stepped onto the property and they rushed to grab our bags to leaving in a prearranged car to get to the train station courtesy of the concierge. The staff at this place are absolutely impeccable, but Eduord with guests services went above and beyond to plan an unexpected special engagement surprise after hearing from the concierge that we got engaged. Such a special moment, and we have not stopped talking about how we will always stay at Hotel du Louvre whenever we travel to Paris in the future.

Truly immaculate hotel in the center of Paris. Pros include (1) beautifully appointed and spacious room, (2) great location (easy to get anywhere in the city), (3) friendly staff, and (4) an amazing and overall impressive property (facade and public spaces). I also liked that you could snag unlimited bottles of water at their gym and that they upgraded our room unprompted. I can't really think of any con. Truly a remarkable hotel!

I love Hotel du Louvre! It distinguishes itself with gracious service and comfort, and its Bistro is excellent. I have stayed there solo (before it was a Hyatt) and with my teenage daughter. My husband and son just returned from a short visit. They were thrilled with the early check-in they received, the helpfulness of the concierge, and the wonderful bistro. The staff took steps to make them feel special, and even anticipated my son's breakfast order! Hotel du Louvre is a great solace after busy (and in this case, hot) days touring Paris, and I happily recommend it! Merci, merci, Hotel du Louvre! We are looking forward to our next visit!

We had such a wonderful stay! Of course the location is unbeatable and the room is in good condition! The service was amazing. The hotel thoughtfully prepared a lovely welcome gift for us, and arranged a very quiet room after we mentioned it was our honeymoon. Every staff member was extremely helpful and responsive — the lady who assisted with our check-in provided a lot of information and always greeted us with a warm smile. Manager Eduardo gave us a very warm welcome as well. The breakfast team was also incredibly friendly and attentive. We truly appreciated the care and hospitality, and would definitely come back.
