Summer trip
The previous summer i had my first opportunity to travel completely separate from my parents. so that experience was unforgettable . Me and my friends were having very eventful , bright and awesome eurotrip . But the highlight of my holidays was in Paris. We were fortunate to book in a month by taking the last number. I can say that we made reservation pretty in advance however there was still a large margin on the rooms due to couture fashion week . And due to this fact we met a lot of famous people . Upon arrival at our hotel , the room expectations were surpassed , we were very delighted of the proffessional and knowledgable staff. As our room it was very nice and made in a typical French style .View was the perfect, direct of the Eiffel Tower from our window—absolutely breathtaking. The only disappointment was design of the bathroom , it was really old and uncomfortable. One of the biggest advantage of our hotel is location . Plaza was situated in the very center, so all facilities were very close to us. Housekeeping was also on a good level. The did there job twice a day. There were three Restaurants and all of them were too old and boring so we didn’t go a lo to them. Variety of national French dishes were greatly cut. Another significant downside was lack of spa and gym . For travelers seeking an active holiday it isnt a big deal but for people who wants to have a relax time and do sports this will cause a trouble. But Everyday we go sightseeing and eat in popular restaurants . As for me Paris is the most wonderful and energetic city all streets ,houses, shops , restaurants are very aesthetic and filled with incredible energy. My verdict is that I would recommend this hotel for a luxurious base in Paris, but with a strong suggestion to: · Book at least 2-3 months in advance, especially if your visit coincides with a major event like Fashion Week. · Be prepared for premium pricing during peak seasons. · Manage your expectations regarding modern fitness/spa facilities and the interior design of some rooms.

Dear Management of Plaza Athénée, I am writing to express my deepest disappointment and outrage regarding the disgraceful treatment I have personally experienced during my stay at your hotel. Despite being a resident guest of Plaza Athénée, I was subjected to extremely poor, discriminatory, and offensive behavior by your staff in the hotel lobby. The lobby, which should represent the heart of hospitality and elegance in a property of such prestige, has instead become a place where blatant discrimination and arrogance are practiced openly. It is alarming to witness staff prioritizing and favoring guests solely based on how much they spend, while showing neglect and disrespect toward others. This is not only unprofessional but also a form of unacceptable and unnatural discrimination. Such behavior demeans me as a loyal guest and tarnishes the international reputation of both Plaza Athénée and the Dorchester Collection as a whole. The lobby is the first impression of your hotel, and what I experienced there was nothing short of shameful. I demand an urgent and thorough investigation into these practices, strict disciplinary action against those responsible, and concrete assurances that such discriminatory treatment will not be tolerated in the future. Should this matter not be addressed with the seriousness it deserves, I will have no choice but to escalate the issue formally to higher authorities and international media outlets.

A literal dream come true
Absolutely amazing experience yet again. I’ve stayed in luxury hotels all over the world so I can say with confidence that this hotel is the best in the world for me. I didn’t think that anything could be better than the time that we had stayed here for our honeymoon but upon returning for our anniversary the hotel managed to top even that. This hotel is really what makes the experience of the city of Paris beautiful for me and I now can not stay in Paris unless it’s at this hotel. It actually feels heart breaking when it’s time to leave. Will return to Paris time and time again just because of this hotel and especially the service of Pierre who truly goes above and beyond and who makes the stay at the hotel an absolute dream come true.

I stay in hotels around d the world, 200 nights a year. Quite often in some of the best hotels available. Place Athenee is simply the best hotel experience I’ve ever had in my life. The level of service and attention to detail I’ve never seen in Four Seasons, Ritz’s or some of the best hotels in London, NYC and Singapore.

My favorite Birthday at Plaza Athénée
It was my first trip to Paris and it was also my Birthday! If I could give 10 stars on this review, I would! My sister and I were met with the warmest welcome! Both of our rooms were beautiful! The location has a walkable and nearby view of the Eiffel Tower from the front right side. The entire team at Plaza Athénée gave us five star quality, from the front door concierge, service, food, bar, tea room, front patio and room service and housekeeping. The food & presentation are amazing. When I return, I will make sure to visit again!
