Hotel Regina Louvre

As the hotel knows, but only after I remind them, I have been a steady guest since 1967, yes, I’m old. The stay was as expected, excellent. We discovered a service they provide, by accident. For about 500$ you can get Special VIP escort at the airport from the door of the plane thru passport/ customs/ luggage etc to an S Class Mercedes ( it works both directions). We changed from the Tower suite to a Prestige suite, because the former has no shower. The latter has two bathrooms and no view. Still cost is about half to a third of the Ritz. It would be extremely useful if they published greater detail on room layout, especially regarding bathrooms and storage. Yes, the rooms, rugs, furniture could use a total refresh. But its value is good. The staff at concierge, front desk and restaurant front door are good to excellent.

We had a junior suite, which had good air conditioning and was a nice room. Furnishings were a little dated. My only issue was with breakfast. All special breakfast orders took a very long time and often were done as asked. I would definitely recommend this hotel for it’s location and charm regardless

An exceptional hotel. Well located, and it is a beautiful building with exquisite interiors. Wonderful rooms. Fantastic staff and service, everyone was very friendly and efficient. Superb restaurant and bar. Definitely the place to stay in Paris.

Would absolutely never ever stay here again. I purchased a brand new Goyard bag and it didn't leave the hotel room - then we checked out and took it to the storage room (an advertised service they offer) while we waited for our transport to the airport. When we returned, the strap on the bag had a grease or tyre mark on it, apparently having been run over. The hotel management denied accountability. Obviously very upset with this given it was literally a BRAND NEW bag now with a huge stain. They didn't even offer to help cover dry cleaning or fixing it - despite spending thousands of euros on a suite for a few nights. They don't value guests nor their luggage.

My first impression was French elegance. The junior corner suite not only has breath taking views of iconic Paris landmarks but perfect viewing of the Tour de France. The room was prepared/ready at the time of arrival. We were personally escorted to 315. It was an opportunity for me to ask questions about French customs..The wedding/anniversary flowers I requested were placed and absolutely perfect! Tour de France: The view coming out of the Louvre tunnel was spectacular. Then while the riders were not in view the tv served to continue the experience. The morning buffet offered variety and was supplemented by the kitchen preparing individual preferences. Room service was served on a roll in cart… white table cloth, nice silver and placed to please. A nice cheese burger and fries! In the evening the pizza flavor took me back to the kitchens of Naples IT. The concierge: prior to arrival worked to reserve a croissant baking class. They were patient with my questions and after a fun, yummy learning experience a handwritten note thanked me for trusting them! Check out was seamless…bellman were prompt.
