This was our second trip to Paris and our first time staying at the Hotel Regina Louvre. On our first trip we stayed a few blocks away at the Westin Paris, which is no longer in business. Our travel agent recommended the Regina due to its location. We were very comfortable with that, knowing our way around since we stayed in the area before. From beginning to end this hotel, the staff, the food and the service far exceeded our expectations. Arrival was seamless. We arrived early and the staff told us the room would be ready by 3pm. At 1pm we received a call saying that our room was ready. The front desk staff escorts you to your room rather than just pointing to an elevator. All the room amenities were completely explained. Then 5 minutes later the luggage arrived with a bottle of chilled champagne and a box of chocolates to welcome us! The room was large and spotless. The bathroom was the same - separate shower and tub and double sink. Marble everywhere you looked. The only slight issue was a lack of drawer space. Even with 2 closets there were very few drawers. Not really a problem at all though. Every day on our way out the Concierge was amazingly helpful with directions. On one day we had an early pickup for a day trip to Loire Valley. We had to leave before the breakfast restaurant was opened. I asked the Concierge where the best place to grab coffee was at 6:30 am. He advised that even though the restaurant was not open until 7:30, he would have coffee and cappuccino ready for us with fresh croissants (chocolate plain). It was waiting for us in a beautiful bag as we went out for the day! Amazing! I can’t say enough good things about the entire staff…. Restaurant included! Breakfast was included and they welcomed us to our same table every day. The buffet breakfast was perfect with outrageously delicious breads, muffins, desserts, etc. This hotel is an old world grand hotel looking. No flashy modern art, or chrome and glass. Just elegant rooms with a tasteful lobby and beautiful artwork throughout. Even the staircase is a work of art. It is semi curricular staircase with a lift in the middle. We really felt at home at the Regina Louvre. As for the location - we walked everywhere. It’s directly across from the Louvre, 15 minute walk to the Chammps Elysee, 10 minutes across the bridge to St. Germaine. 100s of restaurants and cafes nearby and all the shopping you could want. Overall, a wonderful trip made even better by staying at the Regina Louvre. Kudos to the staff there for making every detail perfect. Ron

We arrived in Paris from the U.S. at 7:15 a.m. after an overnight flight with virtually no sleep and reached the hotel around 9:30 a.m. We completely understood that our room might not be ready that early, but asked whether an early check-in might be possible. We were told they would try to accommodate us and suggested we come back later. We returned around noon and were told the room would likely be ready around 2:30–3:00 p.m. We went back out and returned at 2:45, only to be told housekeeping was still working on the room and it would now be closer to 4:00 p.m. What makes this particularly frustrating is that checkout is at noon. Waiting more than four hours after checkout time—and more than six hours after arriving at the hotel—for a room to be prepared seems excessive. I called Centurion to see if they could help. They contacted the hotel and were told it was apparently a housekeeping issue. Whatever the reason, a hotel of this caliber should be staffed and organized to turn rooms over more efficiently, particularly when guests have been waiting all day. We certainly didn’t expect a room at 9:30 a.m., but repeatedly being given later times and still not having a room available well into the afternoon was disappointing and not the level of service we expected.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Regina! The location was absolutely perfect and made it so easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer. What really made the experience exceptional, though, was the staff. The reception and concierge teams were amazing: welcoming, attentive, friendly, and always happy to help. Their outstanding service made us feel truly taken care of throughout our stay. I would absolutely recommend Hotel Regina and would happily stay here again. A wonderful hotel, perfect location, and exceptional staff!

As the hotel knows, but only after I remind them, I have been a steady guest since 1967, yes, I’m old. The stay was as expected, excellent. We discovered a service they provide, by accident. For about 500$ you can get Special VIP escort at the airport from the door of the plane thru passport/ customs/ luggage etc to an S Class Mercedes ( it works both directions). We changed from the Tower suite to a Prestige suite, because the former has no shower. The latter has two bathrooms and no view. Still cost is about half to a third of the Ritz. It would be extremely useful if they published greater detail on room layout, especially regarding bathrooms and storage. Yes, the rooms, rugs, furniture could use a total refresh. But its value is good. The staff at concierge, front desk and restaurant front door are good to excellent.

We had a wonderful time at the Regina. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, all items included in our package arrived promptly. The hotel is very well geared to the Luxury Link auction features and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
