Hotel San Regis Paris

I stayed at the San Regis on a recent trip to Paris with my pre-teen son. It was his first visit to the city, so the hotel's proximity to the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and other major attractions was the reason I chose to book here - but the warmth of the staff, the beauty of the building and comfort of the room will be the reasons we return! Our room was extremely spacious and beautifully appointed with a phenomenal view (highly recommend a terrace suite if possible). I'll never forget the experience of watching the Eiffel Tower light show from the terrace with my kid! Fully functional in-room AC unit kept the room very cool when needed. Everyone we encountered, from check-in, to the restaurant, to housekeeping was thoughtful and charming. Bravo to the owners whose father I'm certain is very proud of the way they've continued the family business.

At first, when I saw the name "San Regis", I though It was one of the famous luxurious chain hotels run by Marriott. But, this hotel was absolutely not. It was an independent hotel run by a family. This hotel had a very intimate atmosphere and felt like living in Paris. Also, staff were very helpful.

We have stayed in many of the five star hotels here in Paris, but easy to say that this is our favorite. What we love about it most is the location is out of the main street area and has access to all of our most favorite spots. The staff has been very welcoming and professional. The accommodations are top-tier all the way around. Did I mention the breakfast? Wow! We had a late lunch our arrival which was delicious and they have a nice assortment of wines and all reasonably priced. Drinks in the bar before dinner out last night from their well stocked bar. The public areas are all very nicely appointed with a slight mix of some modern, but mostly classic. This is our new home in Paris for sure.!

Best location in Paris! Quiet, beautiful neighborhood. The staff was superb. Would definitely stay here again.

From the moment we stepped through the door to the moment we had to leave my family immensely enjoyed our stay. Warm and friendly staff, beautiful and well appointed room, and priceless view and location. An amazing place, hope to come back soon!
