AN EXTRAORDINARY HOTEL OF UNRIVALED WARMTH AND SERVICE

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

Le Bristol continues to provide unrivaled service and hospitality; maintaining its deserved status as Paris’s most iconic and elegant hotel. Le Bristol is best described as a finely synchronized orchestra in which each department of the hotel works seamlessly together to serve its guests, from its responsive reservation department and attentive front desk staff to its impeccable housekeeping, superb restaurants and food service and its outstanding concierge team. This historic hotel, under the Oetker family’s long term and dedicated ownership, is renowned for its timeless elegance and warmth. Le Bristol’s unrivaled hospitality is a product of a truly remarkable management team which works assiduously to maintain this extraordinary hotel’s unique family environment and service level. The hotel’s operating team, led by its hands on Manager, Aurelie Martin, works tirelessly to ensure that the Le Bristol experience is a memorable one. Ms. Martin, intensely focused on Le Bristol’s service ethos, is supported by an experienced and dedicated team of long time Le Bristol staff members, including Jean-Marie Burlet (Director of Guest Relations), Stephane David Louise Barret and Laure Pichon. Under Mr. Burlet’s direction, the hotel’s security team remains keenly focused on guest safety (with William and the Laurents seeming to know each and every guest). It is a remarkable management team. We continue to be amazed by Le Bristol’s unrivaled concierge department. Under the astute leadership of Tony LeGoff and Marie - Liesse Thery, the concierge team’s encyclopedic knowledge of Paris dining venues and cultural institutions is an asset unique to Le Bristol. Each member of the team, from Arthur Meresse, Helene Duquait, Jimmy Brisson, Constance Galineau, Fanny Kerambrun, Sarah Huet, Gabriel Bodet, James and their colleagues work to advise and guide the hotel’s guests and ensure that Le Bristol’s guests enjoy the full breadth and wonders of this magical city. Le Bristol is unlike any other “luxury” hotel. It is much more than its ornate physical structure and magnificent facilities. The hotel is the very definition of warmth. We are grateful for the caring hospitality we have received at this special place.

Sublime hotel

My favorite hotel not only in Paris, but the world. Service is beyond compare. The quality of the food is impeccable, flawless. The beauty of the rooms, public areas, and restaurants is stunning. Great location too. Highly recommended.

Above and beyond...again.

We regularly return to the LeBristol hotel and are always impressed with every aspect of the hotel. Everything about the LeBristol is 'intentional'. From the breathtaking floral arrangements through the unobtrusive (yet ever present) concierge staff it all contributes to an immersive, totally relaxing stay. From the moment we were picked up from the Eurostar station we knew we were in good hands. As soon as we arrived we received the most gracious 'welcome home' from various staff members who recalled our previous visits and were shown to a fabulous suite that would indeed become our home for the next week. We cannot emphasise enough how wonderful this hotel makes you feel. It is a tonic for the heart and soul. You feel uplifted and totally cared for. My birthday celebration at Epicure was one of the finest meals we have ever enjoyed. The wine list is expansive but you will be expertly guided by Francesco. He is a credit to the world of wine ! Epicure is everything you expect from a 3 michelin star restaurant without any of the stuffiness or rigidity that often accompanies those stars. Quite the opposite at Epicure. We felt totally relaxed and enjoyed many laughs with our head waiter Oisin, which contributed to an unforgettable dining experience. A must do! Whilst in Paris we had an 'issue' (nothing at all to do with the hotel). Yet, upon hearing of our plight, the staff of LeBristol went above and beyond to help us. Suffice to say, this was yet another example of why LeBristol is more than a Palace. It is the genuine kindness and spirit of generosity exhibited by all the staff that will keep us coming back. We are always sad to leave LeBristol but so happy to have once again experienced the best hotel.. and best hotel team in the world.!!

Disappointed at Le Bristol

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

How can this possibly have such a high rating? The service is dismissive, haughty, and Not customer first. Our biggest issue was the AC not working in the room during a heat wave. They tried to fix it and couldn’t so sent up a fan. A fan. At a five star hotel. We finally pushed to move our room and got a lower level with no apology. Do not stay here in the summer months as their AC is poor throughout the hotel but especially at the room levels. Room service was slow, the front desk was useless, and the bellman never came to help with our bags at the end of the stay after a 15 minute wait. Go to The Ritz. It’s a much better high luxury experience.

A memorable stay.

This was our first visit to The Bristol and it certainly lived up to its hallowed reputation. The building and rooms are beautiful. Location is perfect. We always stay in the 1st and find its ideal to walk most places for sightseeing, shopping and eating. The gym was really well equipped and never crowded. I must specifically acknowledge Sarah, Fanny, Constance and the entire team at the Concierge Desk. Pre-arrival, they were all so helpful in suggesting restaurants and booking our reservations. They were even more helpful once we arrived and just a warm and friendly crew who we looked forward to seeing each time we passed. Same for the front desk team. All just the top of the profession. Cocktails at the bar was a wonderful way to start the night. The drinks are really well done and the servers and host lovely. All very memorable. Our only bump was breakfast at Epicure. The room is stunning and the food was very nice (pastries spectacular). We found the service to be almost non-existent. No one visited our table after orders were taken, we were never offered more coffee or asked if we wanted anything else. I needed to flag someone down to get the bill after we had waited too long for any sign of service. The servers run around the room in such a flurry that it was anything but a relaxing experience. Minor note though, because we will be back at The Bristol during our next visit.
