Fantastic location and a very quiet hotel. Walking distance to lots of cafes and many of the museums you want to see. The staff is very friendly and responsive.

Lovely Paris hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

We were greeted by a lovely young lady at the desk when were arrived very early in the morning. She did her best to get us into a room by 12:30 as we were exhausted from traveling. We loved this small hotel. We had room 203 which was SO quiet and comfortable. The room was clean, large and had a sauna in the bathroom which was really a bonus. The bed was so comfortable. I wish there had been 1 American news station on the TV as it is nice to relax after a long touring day before dinner. Breakfast in the lobby was delicious and the gentleman who work there are very nice. Most places of interest are within walking distance along with restaurants and train stations. (20-40 mins walk) Although this hotel is affiliated with Marriott Bonvoy they do not guarantee any Titanium perks but they do their best to accommodate your needs.

Amazing Staff!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

This might be my first hotel review, ever, and what is more unusual is that we have several more days left in our stay. I want to sing the praises of the excellent staff here, as they are genuinely worth commenting on. (Note: I am a "picky" traveler to begin with). They have been nothing but patient, kind, and accommodating, and have anticipated our every need. The highlights: 1) The insanely resourceful concierge planned an excellent itinerary for our sightseeing tours before our arrival. (Which was EVERYTHING). 2) Upon our arrival, the woman at the front desk insisted upon finding adjoining rooms for us after the first night, as we had requested them and they were not available. (Please note 3b for why this was wise, after all) 3) This is Paris, no obligation to smile, but ALL of the hotel staff have been nothing but accommodating, pleasant with a "hello" for us at all times. 3b) This includes the EXTREMELY kind night staff member who had to politely knock on our door at 11 am because our two kids with ADHD were in the middle of a noisy meltdown. (Complaint WAS warranted, in my mind). Thanks to the staff for saving our holiday! -RPB I usually prefer larger hotels, but this place is a MAJOR exception. The location is fabulous. Close to all of the right places. I feel undeservedly spoiled- an excellent stop if you are looking for an undiscovered, comfortable place to stay in Paris.

Beautiful Hotel Just Minutes from the Louvre

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 months ago

We stayed here for the final leg of our trip to Europe, and it was a great choice. The hotel is just a 10 l-15 minute walk from the Louvre, making it an ideal location for sightseeing. The property itself is beautiful, with spacious rooms and modern, stylish decor. The staff was warm and accommodating throughout our stay, and housekeeping did an excellent job of keeping our room refreshed daily. We truly enjoyed our time here and would gladly return.

Most disappointing hotel stay of the last decade.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 months ago

I reserved this hotel with Marriott points, and it wasn’t cheap. The rooms on the website photos appeared elegant. It turns out that photoshopping found its market with this hotel. My room was small and ordinary at best. It would have been ok for a rate one quarter of the price, but this was dumpy. The desk clerk apologized for not being able to give me an upgrade. He also informed me that they do not give Titanium members free breakfast. Since it was late, we decided to eat at the hotel dining room. The bouef bourgignon was ordinary, I can make a better version at home and I’ve actually had an equivalent product out of a can. We made the mistake of thinking a burger should be fine almost everywhere . The burger for lunch was edible but not much better. Ordered a bakery basket for breakfast - it would have been free at any other Marriott product but not here. Pastries were not served warm and I received no butter or jams. The shower was excellent, as were the towels - about the only thing that justified the price of the room. On the last day we intended to sleep late, pack, go do some shopping, then taxi to the train station.at 1130 am I was awakened by the phone - the front desk wanted to know if we needed to store luggage. I was stupid enough to think that this hotel might actually recognize Titanium status with a late checkout, but it wasn’t to be. We hurriedly showered, dressed, and packed. It didn’t help that the housekeeping staff knocked on our door three times over the next 90 minutes, despite the Do Not Disturb sign on the door. Our plans for a pleasant day shattered, we took a taxi to the station and waited there, giving up the opportunity to get a few souvenirs for the kids back home. I was asked at checkout how my stay had been. When I replied “substandard” she appeared stunned. I couldn’t think of a better word. In no way was this stay acceptable to anyone for the cost, let alone to a Marriott Titanium member. I wonder why they want to be part of Marriott when they have interest or intention of participating in recognizing the elite members of the Rewards program. I got the impression that they felt being a member of the Design Group made them special. I guess it does, but not in a good or enviable way.
