About the Hotel

Beautiful, très chic Paris is in fine form at Les Jardins du Marais. Behind an unassuming façade on Rue Amelot in Marais, this Summit Hotels & Resorts property, part of the Preferred Hotel Group, adds a contemporary edge to 1930s glamour in rooms outfitted with plush purple carpeting and Macassar ebony furniture. Sunlight floods the lobby and restaurant through a glass roof, and blossoming flowers are everywhere. Nine renovated, historic buildings comprise the hotel – one used to house Gustave Eiffel’s workshop.

Even better the second tjme!

This was our second time at Les Jardins du Marais and again very pleased with our choice. We are a family with two adults and two children (5 and 8) on holiday. What we love about this hotel is: - the location in the Marais. Such a great neighborhood for walkable restaurants, shops, cafes. Outside of the main tourist districts. Our kids enjoyed walking to Place des Voges and the little playground there. Also very close to the metro to get to other parts of the city. Or Ubers. - the room sizes are larger than typical Paris hotels. Ours was a large studio with king bed and queen sofa bed the kids shared. And the kitchenette is great for snacks and cold drinks on hand - staff is always nice and attentive While this isn’t an ultra luxury property we’ve always found it very comfortable, welcoming and convenient. Will likely stay here again when we make it back to Paris. One thing I would bring next time is body lotion. That was oddly not provided in the bathroom even though other typical toiletry items were. Highly recommend!

great budget hotel

We absolutely like everything: the location, it's not noisy and close to everything, comfortable beds and good bed linen, cleaning every day, delicious breakfast, the room has everything you need and more. The only thing was that at the very beginning, when we moved in, there was a dusty bathtub and the tap water in Paris is very chlorinated compared to the water in our country. But really, you don't have to worry about anything, we are very happy that we stayed here.

A very good hotel in Paris

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. Our room was new, spacious, very well cleaned and definitely matched the pictures on the advert! The arrival was smooth, check in was quick and there is a possibility of speaking to the team via WhatsApp. The inside garden of the hotel is perfect - beautiful, peaceful and you can enjoy evenings there. I definitely recommend staying there, our building was Renoir and it was a 10/10 experience!

Not a 4 star. Old and dusty rooms.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Location is great and common garden area very enjoyable. The rooms are old and extremely dusty; which really impacts sleep quality. We found a used salad bowl with soya sauce under our bed which shows the quality of the cleaning service. The entire hotel needs a proper refresh to qualify for a 4 star.
