Reviews for Mandarin Oriental, Paris

Obviously expensive but not such good value.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

When seeing the cost of the room we expected so much more. And the prices of drinks and food are extortionate. The staff are excellent, though - they gave very good service. There is a courtyard bar that is nice. Works well. But the bar menu is very limited. The bathrooms are split either side of the room entrance lobby. So, after using the shower or toilet you have to come out and walk across carpet into the other part of the bathroom (!) to wash your hands and brush your teeth. Odd set up. R The room is just ‘ok’. I expected more. It’s clean etc., but just didn’t seem MO. Restaurant is expensive, but that’s expected. Really good staff, and hotel is in good location - and seems safer area than others - but due to the cost of the stay I wont be going back.

Amazing Luxury in Paris

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

The hotel met and exceeded all of our expectations for our recent trip to Paris. Immediately upon arrival everyone already seemed to know our names, and their guest services department was able to arrange for a special bottle of champagne on arrival. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and immaculate. The entire staff seems to enjoy working here and you are always greeted with a smile and a staff that is willing to do whatever they can to assure you have an amazing experience. The front door staff are extremely friendly and every time we returned to the hotel it felt as if we were coming home. We dined at the hotel regularly in both the restaurant and room service, everything was excellent. They also have an in house pastry shop with excellent desserts. There is nothing about our stay that I would not rate as a five star experience. This will definitely be our home whenever we visit Paris in the future.

Sublime staying experience from the start to finish. 100% pure perfection. Period. Special thank you to Mr Rashed Sioud (Front Desk Manager) and Mr Daniel from Camelia Restaurant! Your sincerity and assistance really touched us deeply! Really appreciate it.
