Park Hyatt Paris-Vendome

Location: 5*. Amazing location right by Vendome and close to the metro. Service: mixed. 3* The bellmen on duty the day of our check-in were not helpful or friendly. Room: 4* quite spacious but a little dated and in need of a refresh.

Stayed here last year and had a great experience. However, this year, not so much. Service was not as attentive, food was subpar and internet in the room never worked. I must say I was surprised at all the misses. The Park Hyatt should be so much better.

The hotel is perfectly located. 30 seconds from place vendome and in a nice area. The staff was very accommodating and very caring, very professional. We had an early flight they were kind enough to provide an early check in . The hotel feels very premium overall. Rooms are of a good size for Paris, with all amenities. Very nice bathrooms, all qualitative. A few misses: The bed is ok but not overly comfortable. While they have a pillow menu I didn't try, I found the provided pillows to be just ok, a bit hard. Noise levels are ok for Paris, pretty good sound insulation but you can still hear some city noises. Breakfast was good, dinner was ok. I do think they crossed the line when it comes to prices. There is no reason whatsoever for a Coca Cola to cost 15-17 euros. This is absurd and feels like nickel and dimming in an hotel that is already on the very expensive side. It feels like tourist abuse. For all those reasons, I would still recommend that hotel, but I'm not sure about value overall.

Great hotel for business or leisure. Well equipped rooms, excellent facilities, lively lobby lounge. Close to the best shopping area. Staff very helpful and attentive.

This is how a top hotel should feel like. They make you feel welcomed and the offerings are top notch. Rooms are on the smaller side but that's with all of Europe. Can't say enough good things about this place!
