Avoid – No Heating, Poor Service, and False Claims

Freezing room with broken heating. We spent hours arguing with staff due to misleading and unacceptable responses. Wasted valuable travel time, and the only solution was a portable heater. Completely unacceptable for Pullman Paris Montparnasse.

Lovely hotel

Stayed here for a first time trip to Paris. It is slightly further out but the metro is a two minute walk away. For reference, we walked to Notre Dame Cathedral and it took 45 minutes. Lots of bars and restaurants around and convenience shops. Hotel is lovely and clean and staff are very friendly. We went to the sky bar. Yes, it’s 25 euros pp but you do get a drink included and I got a cocktail (in Paris, you’ll be paying about that for a cocktail anyway) we stayed for a couple of hours and the view of the Eiffel Tower lighting up is brilliant! You’re in Paris, just do it! We used the gym and I have to say, it’s one of the best hotel gyms I’ve used. Lots of functional equipment mixed with weights and cardio machines. Only very tiny negative is that most of the USB sockets don’t work so had to swap and change what we were charging. Hairdryer is very powerful and there is a mirrored wall in bedroom (which took me off balance at times as I kept on thinking I was walking into glass) and the cleaners didn’t replenish the coffees throughout the stay I would stay here again for sure. But if you want to be closer to the attractions then I’d advise going elsewhere. Oh and bring money, Paris is pricey! But we knew that and had a great time!

Large Hotel - Popular with Tour Group

Our recent 3 night's stay at Pullman Paris Montparnasse was overall very enjoyable. The rooms were spacious, which was a nice surprise for Paris, and the service was excellent throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet had a good variety, though some items were a bit lukewarm. The location is very convenient, with easy access to public transportation and nearby grocery stores for snacks and drinks. A comfortable and well-located option we would consider again.

Not what we expected...

The advertising for this hotel is very misleading. It heavily pushes the 'skybar' and it features in the photos. In fact the skybar is a completely separate business, on the hotel roof, and hotel residents have to pay €25 to access it, just like anyone walking in from the street. There is only one restaurant open for evening dinner in the hotel, so the dining options are limited for such a large hotel. The executive room we had was nice but the 'minibar' included in the price contained only water, one coke and one cold tea. Overall, not good enough for the price paid, sorry to say.

beautiful hotel..great location…not worth the price…25 euro pp to go up to skybar..includes 1 drink off limited drink menu…lobby bar closes early..bkfst and snack bar very expensive..bought bkfst sandwich first morning that was unedible but biggest complaint was that air conditioning in room didnt work…called front desk at midnight they said they would send someone…went down to front desk twice…still no one came to fix…at 0200 am finally gave us another room…had to move all our stuff at 0200 am…had paid extra 22 euro per night when we booked for view of paris sacre-couer..beautiful but new room had view of wall…asked if we could have money off bill but was offered to move to another room…didnt really want to move all the stuff again…overall experience good…nice clean modern room but disappointed with some things for the price
