magical stay in Paris

4 of us checked to enjoy a couple of nights before a river cruise. 2 of us stayed here 14 years ago just after it opened. Before our visit, we had a very helpful pre-communication by email. Coralie provided an excellent check in experience and invited us to the lounge for a beverage and to relax while waiting for then second couple. We gained some wonderful insights from Iéa at concierge. She helped us find the restaurant Ozio which was able to accommodate gluten free needs. Stephane in the restaurant immediately helped me to gather some gluten free bread for my sister to have on her arrival. He was also very gracious and helpful to guide her choices and work the chef to help her make safe choices. All of us were very grateful for his professionalism and his work in the dining room. When our room was ready, Cristelle, gave us a lovely escort to our room with congratulations on our anniversary. We were to feel special and appreciated as long term Marriott customers. Kumar, in Guest Relations was also a very pleasant and helpful part of the entire stay, including helping with breakfast room communications. The bellmen were amazing and efficient. I am sorry that their names have escaped me but their eyes were always on the guests and their needs for uber, luggage, etc. We completely recommend this hotel. It is located in a lovely residential area away from the hustle and bustle but walkable to the Eiffel Tower and to two Metro stops.

The location is fantastic, the hotel staff are mediocre & pretentious, the hotel itself is sad and the breakfast is the worst I’ve ever experienced in all of Europe (so bad that I would not go a second time, even though it was free as a Titanium Lifetime Elite member). I’m sad for how much this formerly beautiful hotel has gone down hill over the last decade.

Hotel located in nice area, gorgeous court yard and bar area. Rooms and bathrooms were spacious. Comfortable beds and great customer service. A variety of bistro, cafe and restaurants within walking distance. Greeted by hotel staff and a cocktail on arrival. Excellent morning buffet was filled with French pastry heaven of croissants, breads, bacon, eggs, potatoes, fruit, yogurt, cheese, meat, oatmeal, coffee/tea. Scored this as a four instead of a 5 because I thought the location was closer to the effort tower.

We stay at this hotel everytime we come to Paris (I think this is our 4th or 5th visit). As always, check in was great, our room was clean, we were so happy to be here. We checked in early and it was a bit too warm in the room for us (note: this is a me issue, not a hotel issue - we keep our house at a solid 17 year round - it’s cold, we know). It’s still spring in Paris so the hotel had the heat on in the room and it just couldn’t cool off fast enough for our family (again, this is mainly a me issue - I think for the general population this wouldn’t be an issue at all). We were travelling with a tired and cranky child and just wanted to rest so we stopped at the front desk while out getting food just to ask if there were any options or to see what could be done. This hotel went above and beyond to accommodate us - they could have just given us a fan but they switched rooms to a lower floor so it would be cooler, lowered the temperature before we walked in, and opened the windows. After a long day of travel our family is extremely appreciative (and comfortable).

A quaint place to stay in the heart of Paris.

A conference I attended in March was booked through this hotel. I had read a number of reviews and was wondering how it would be. Overall, it was better than I expected. First, we arrived at the hotel at 11:00am and thought we would have to check our luggage until we checked in at 3:30pm. However, our room was ready immediately and we went to unpack. The room was on the fourth floor in the garden section in the back. We didn't expect much for it. The room was fine, but small as you'd expect. However, when we looked out our little round portal hole we had a small view of the top of the Eiffel Tower. It was amazing and unexpected. The bed and bathroom were great and overall it was pretty quiet. The hotel as a whole was quaint and reflective of an old hotel. The included breakfast was great and the staff was on top of it. The buffet had adequate food, but I wasn't really a fan of the eggs. (It just isn't an American style)...as the bacon as well (a bit more rare). However, their pastries were incredible. I did wish that I knew I could order custom food from the kitchen like an omelette. The front desk was incredibly nice and people were "on-it" in anything we wanted. Prompt, professional and gracious. They worked well with internationals and were always very helpful. As for location, think of it like being in New York, Paris is so big that a couple of blocks takes 10-15 minutes. So, it's really close to the Trocadero, Arch de Triomphe, Metro, etc. so for a large city it was situated pretty well, especially for using the Metro.
