I went for a spa day - so a massage early then used the sauna and pool area and after a very long lunch at the Bar Vendôme. I get massages regularly and I have to tell you Julian might have given me the best massage I’ve ever had . I was suffering from a week of skiing and my god he straightened me out . The facilities are first class as you would expect . They got me in for my 2:30! lunch and the food and wine another level . I love Burgundy and the sommelier was able to select a village wine from Saint Denis ( Bruno Clair ) that was affordable but almost Grand Cru in quality! We left feeling so pampered as only the Ritz can do … go for a spa day !

Uneven Experience

My husband and I stayed at the Ritz Paris two years ago and it was a wonderful experience. We are planning a return trip in July and have been met with an uneven response from the hotel regarding special requests for our stay. After four days, I have yet to receive a response from reservations regarding the details of our stay and special requests despite sending multiple emails. I would expect better service from the storied Ritz Paris.

Our group of four went for tea, which we learned is the French version with all sweets. Never had we had such fabulous and unique desserts. Their house tea is amazing, and I especially valued being offered a glass of champagne without alcohol. The service was impeccable! What a treat!
