From the moment we booked the reservation till we checked out, the reservations, concierge, restaurants and spa team were very attentive. The following individuals and experiences really helped made our stay memorable and special - Emily in the restaurant team. Thank you for the care you demonstrated in ensuring our 4 year old son enjoyed his meals. The special pancake, macaroons and hot chocolate for him were absolutely amazing. This gesture for me is a real example of a high standard of hospitality. Thoughtful recommendations such as Park Monceau made for a wonderful afternoon as a family, our son went on the carousel, saw the bees and flowers, played with ducks, pebbles near pond and ran around. It further helped us appreciate the exceptional location of the hotel with many major attractions within short distance. Thank you again for these memorable experiences! -Chi spa team were very helpful in managing my appointment requests and handling my son even when he was a bit loud. Angele personalised my treatment thoughtfully without having to ask or explain too much. She analysed the requirements and gave a bespoke treatment that made me completely relaxed. -lady who provided the turndown service was very helpful. She would understand what we needed and helped us promptly. The above examples show how the Shangri La team show an understanding of guests and go the extra mile to make our stay truly special! Suggestion-Our room with Eiffel Tower view did have the view but as per the website photos I expected the view to be directly in front of window. The view is at an angle and one has to peek out to see the Eiffel Tower. It is not visible easily from most of the room. This can be made clearer during booking etc

This is a luxury hotel and it delivered in every way we asked it to. Welcoming and helpful doormen/bellmen, pleasant registration and concierge teams, impeccable housekeeping, most luxurious bed/linens, excellent breakfasts and room service dinner, perfect location for Eiffel and Seine, etc. We did not visit the spa so we cannot speak to that element. Luxury hotels are at a higher cost, but when paying that price we expect a stay to match and Shangri-La Paris did just that.

From arrival this Hotel is exceptional. The Staff are professional and discreet, and made my grandson and I feel very special. This was my second visit and I wasn’t disappointed. The Shanghai-La go the extra mile to make sure their guests are well looked after. The Restaurant was ambient and the steak perfect. The breakfast was beautifully served and we were sad to leave. Both rooms I stayed in were spotless and very well equipped with amenities and luxury. Perfect for tourists and a stones throw from the Eiffel Tower.

Serious security issue. During my stay at Shangri-La Paris, USD 600 went missing from my room after housekeeping service. What makes this even more alarming is that several of my friends from the same group experienced money going missing as well during the same period. We immediately reported this to hotel management, expecting a professional and responsible response from a so-called luxury hotel. Unfortunately, the handling of the situation was disappointing and did not reflect the seriousness of the issue. For a hotel at this price point and reputation, guests should feel safe leaving their belongings in their rooms. This experience caused stress, ruined our stay, and completely damaged our trust. I would strongly warn future guests to be extremely careful with valuables.

Our stay at Shangri-La Paris during the New Year period was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. We chose this hotel expecting a special and memorable stay, but what we experienced was the exact opposite. We were staying as a group of friends in separate rooms, and cash has already been confirmed stolen from three different guests in our group. We reported this to the hotel immediately. What is most shocking is that there has been absolutely no follow-up, no explanation, and no accountability from the hotel. This is completely unacceptable, especially for a property that presents itself as a luxury hotel. On top of the serious security issue, the basic service was also extremely poor. Housekeeping failed to provide toothpaste and did not refill the minibar. This was not an isolated case — all four rooms we booked experienced the same problems, clearly pointing to a serious lack of management and service standards. We are extremely angry about the thefts and the hotel’s careless and dismissive attitude. Guest safety was clearly not taken seriously, and the level of service was far below what any guest should reasonably expect, especially given the price charged during the New Year period. What was meant to be a joyful New Year stay turned into a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience. We do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
