Shangri-La Hotel Paris

Our family’s first visit to Paris couldn’t have started at a more beautiful hotel. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel welcome. The bellman was helpful and friendly, and his recommendations were right on point. Melissa made check-in seamless. She was warm and wonderful with our kids. The kids have many surprises in store for theThe kids had many surprises in store for them, She gave us a tour of the hotel, and made sure we could text her if we needed anything before she parted ways. Being in a foreign country for the first time, that was so reassuring. We had a lot of questions on our first night, and she never made us feel like we were asking too much. Every request was handled promptly and without a hitch. When we realized we needed outlet adapters and asked about a clothing steamer, both were brought to our room within minutes. After many years of travel, that level of thoughtful, responsive service really stood out. Everyone we met was friendly and eager to help, even when there was a slight language barrier. The concierge is very helpful. We could not leave them until they were confident all questions had been answered. After a long day of travel, we ordered room service. It arrived promptly with a smile, and the food was delicious—the steak was excellent, and the kids loved the pizza. The turndown service was also impeccable, and the Eiffel Tower view was incredible. This was only our first night here. Seven more to go and I can’t wait to see them top this first night. Just needed to post. We highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again. A truly memorable five-star experience!

I have an unpleasant experience at Shangari-La. Upon check out the bill was not correct and we forced to discuss about the items which we didn’t use and have. We asked for late check out and it was approved but one of the staffs didint even know and questioned us and then they realized they were wrong! There was lack of coordination among the staff. Another thing was we arranged our breakfast to serve late at the room but no body was aware and it created a problem while they want to give us the bill. Last but not least, the staff were extremely rude and acting disrespectful and had a very snobby attitude! We are Shangari-La members for years and honestly this stay at Shangari-La Paris was extremely disappointing. We paid 4000 Euros for each night and expect atleast a respectful behavior. There are lots of fancy, luxury and high end hotels in Paris with lots of great options. For Shangari-La our recommendation is to work on staff trainings and behaviors.

Excellent location, just meters from the Eiffel Tower, after been in all the best hotels in Paris is the one most close to Trocadéro and Eiffel T. The building absolutely stunning, customer service one of the best or may be the best!!

I have nothing negative to say. If I could be forced to think of anything, it would be the cost, but you already know that when you book it. And the way the staff is in the room, the cleanliness, the amenities, the location, the air-conditioning, the peace and quiet, it’s all worth it!

An exquisite experience staying at Shangri-La Paris. Room is spacious with thoughtful amenities. The housekeeping staff were attentive to our needs even without us asking; they left us spectacles cleaning cloth when they saw our sunglasses and reading glasses on the table. Turn down service is also commendable. The hotel sits along embassies and museums, so we felt really safe here. Location is brilliant, just a short walk to Trocadero where you can see the Eiffel Tower, and also close to Champ Elysees, making shopping so convenient. A little bonus: on Wednesdays and Saturdays morning, there's also a market set up right by the hotel, allowing you to explore and try out some local produce and food. It's a beautiful hotel with rich decor, truly unmatched in the aesthetic and makes a stay memorable and magical.
