Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe

To start with the positive, the location is great and the staff is incredible. Every single person on the staff was amazing and deserves to be at a much bigger, much better Sofitel. As for the negative, the hotel is quite run-down. It feels like you are in a low budget airport hotel for 150-200 euros a night. Definitely not the prices they charge for rooms. I was quite surprised as Sofitel used to have a standard, but not here. The couches were fake leather. The decor was cheap. The lamps are hung with wires that give it a construction feel. The staff deserves to be at a hotel at the caliber of the other Sofitel hotels in Paris. If Sofitel updated this hotel to match its other properties in Paris, this would be THE hotel to beat in the city and worth the price.

This was a great stay, really friendly staff and felt very welcomed. House keeping was always on point and liked that I could request a refresh with the turndown service. Food was excellent and so was the location. I enjoyed my stay so much I chose to return to this hotel in February on business.

We forgot our Dyson hair dryer in the drawer in our room. Even though we informed them on the same day, they said they could not find it. Although we requested that the entrance and exit footage of the room was recorded on camera and that the staff entered and exited the room, they did not provide a satisfactory explanation and did not help us. If you are choosing because it is safe, do not choose this hotel

Fantastic location , literally 5 minutes from Arc du Triumph, and Champ Elysees. Fantastic welcome from Tom and Luis . Room was fantastic, bed very comfortable, with such a great amenities. Breakfast , was simply amazing . All kind of variety , sweet and sour . Fantastic service at breakfast, very attentive and welcoming . Throughout the stay everyone was very professional and welcoming. Thanks again Tom.

Had one of the best sleeps I've ever had in any of hotels! Location is great and hotel team very professional. Can highly recommend!
