Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg

An very hotel located in the diplomatic and fashion area a few doors down from the American Embassy and around the corner from the Elysees Palace (French President’s residence) - so lots of security in the street. Good sized rooms and bathrooms (albeit shower in the bathtub) and excellent service. The bar and restaurant were also excellent and worth utilising. I experienced power problems and lost TV one day. Otherwise getting a bit dated, but hard to fault.

We stayed at the Sofitel Paris Faubourg Saint-Honoré during a heatwave with temperatures around 40°C, and unfortunately our experience was far below what you’d expect from a 5-star hotel. The air conditioning in our room simply did not work, making the room unbearably hot for the entire stay. On top of that, the bathroom was in a shocking state when we arrived: the floor and walls were covered in dirt, and black/dirty water came out of the pipes. For the price we paid, we expected basic comfort and cleanliness, and got neither. Very disappointed

We stayed for one night but the experience was great! everyone was very kind including alicia at reception and the food was delicious

What an amazing first experience in Paris. Wonderful location, beautiful property, and attentive staff. We had the pleasure of being greeted by Alicia for check in and check out. It was the perfect way to begin and end our stay. We enjoyed it so much that we have already booked another stay!

Our stay at the Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg was absolutely exceptional. The comfort, elegance and attention to detail made every moment seem luxurious, but what truly made this experience unforgettable was the warmth of the people. Jessica, the head at Blossom restaurant, welcomed us each day with grace and kindness that by the end of our stay she felt like a dear friend. Denis in the bar created the same feeling- genuine hospitality, wonderful conversation, and impeccable service. As travelers from the US we were treated with such warmth and care that this hotel will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Truly memorable in every way!
