We went to Utah for first time on a family vacation as part of salute to service program. The rooms and amenities were amazing. Staff were professional and treated us with excellence. Travelled with my two 16yr old girls and staff was extremely helpful to their needs without adults.

Our group of 5 adults had an absolute blast on our spring skiing getaway at the Grand Hyatt Deer Valley in late March. This stunning new resort in the East Village area is everything we hoped for and more—perfectly set up for a fun, relaxing adult trip with top-notch service and amenities that made every day special. The service was exceptional from start to finish. The team was incredibly welcoming, efficient during check-in, and always ready with great tips on spring snow conditions and mountain runs. The ski valet and shuttle made getting to the brand new gondola a breeze, and we loved skiing right back to the property for easy access via a short shuttle that ran continuously. The hotel's modern, beautiful design and fresh mountain setting were breathtaking. Spacious rooms with incredible views, clean everywhere you look, and a sophisticated yet cozy vibe that suited our group perfectly. Spring brought gorgeous sunny days and longer light, making the whole place feel even more magical. Après-ski was next-level thanks to the heated outdoor pool and those amazing spa tubs (hot tubs) overlooking the majestic mountains and Jordanelle Reservoir. We spent hours every afternoon soaking, chatting, and taking in the panoramic views—it was the ultimate way to unwind after full days on the slopes. Pure relaxation bliss, with beverage and food service right to the hot tub! We also hit the fitness center multiple times, and it was fully stocked with a great selection of exercise machines, premium cardio equipment, and Peloton cycles—perfect for squeezing in a quick workout or spin session to balance out the skiing indulgence. The views from there were fantastic too! One of the unexpected highlights was the nightly s'mores from 8-10 PM. It was highly attended, super fun, and lively—everyone gathered around the fire pits on the terrace, roasting marshmallows, customizing their treats with fun toppings, and enjoying the crisp mountain air and good company. Such a lively, social vibe that kept the energy going into the evening! Dining was solid, the atmosphere relaxed yet upscale, and the whole experience felt tailored for groups like ours. The live music for the "High Chocolate" and for Hidden Aces restaurant/bar was a treat. If you're heading to Deer Valley for spring skiing with friends, the Grand Hyatt is a no-brainer. We loved every minute and are already plotting our return. 5+ stars—highly, highly recommend!

Grand Hyatt Deer Valley is a beautiful property. Located at the bottom of East Village. The lobby is welcoming and the staff very friendly. Our room, two queen beds, was spacious and the bathroom a great size. There should be a door for privacy on the watering closet area. The closest, walk-in, is very spacious for a hotel room. I would suggest putting some hooks on the wall in the closet to hang ski clothes after returning from the slopes. There was a layer of dust at the top of the head board. So sad that the view of the slopes will be lost once the Four Seasons is built. The lockers in the basement are a nice addition for ski boots. And the ski butler service is outstanding. Well done!! We ate at Hidden Ace, adult only, speakeasy. The food and drinks were amazing. We ordered food from the Remington Lounge. All items were delicious. The pool area is very clean. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub and swimming in the pool after a long day of skiing. There is a free shuttle service into downtown Park City that runs every hour or half hour depending on the time of day. It is a 15 minute drive to downtown. There is also a Limo bus that takes you to the mountain side of Park City and the Snow Park area of Deer Valley. It leaves at 7:30am and 9:30am from the hotel. My only complaint regarding this service is the pick up times to return to the hotel, 12:15 and 4:15. There should be a 2:30 or 3:00 pickup as well. Overall, this was a great hotel.

Incredible spring break week with our family in a 2 bedroom residence unit. The 2 bedroom residence units are perfect for those that want extra space, with full kitchens and washer and dryer in unit. You reserve them by clicking on Residence Units on the website. This has been our best trip to this property as each time they continue to add to the small touches that make this property special. The property has the best outdoor pool and three large jacuzzis making it perfect for our family and kids to swim after skiing all day. We loved the convenience to ski out of East Village, no lines! Stay here and ski here before the secret is out. Deer Valley doubled the size of skiing and getting to ski out this base was amazing. Yes, there is construction around the hotel, but didn’t bother us at all. A world class village is being built there so be one of the first to enjoy it! Our kids loved the game room, camp Hyatt had arts and crafts activities for our kids and the s’more station at 8pm every night was a big hit for our kids. With the nice weather, our kids loved running around the large outdoor courtyard. All the staff we met were eager to help, keep it up Grand Hyatt Deer Valley!

This is our second year in a row staying at this property, and we are thinking of making a reservation for next year as well. We love this property!!! At the moment there is a lot of construction going around, but that didn’t take away from us having an amazing family ski trip. The property is beautiful, staff is AMAZING, and there is a lot for the little ones to do. We stayed in an amazing suite that is very roomy and it was restocked and cleaned every day. If you have access to the hyatt club, you basically have dinner included with your stay. The only thing I would recommend is not renting skis from the ski butlers because they are really overpriced. If you or your family are skiers, this property is perfect!
