I absolutely loved Deer valley and especially the hotel. The two pools were amazing the one designed for kids a special win - not to mention our well appointed two bedroom suite with a hot tub on the balcony - all in room amenities were high end from the neapreaso maker to the high end q tips. The landscaping all around was equally high end an impressive. Food and drink was extensive and well curated though service seemed a bit stretched. The biggest issues were turn down and a separate amenity deliver ly both going through our do not disturb - clearly not Forbes 5 star, I understand with the service lapses in the restaurant not gaining that distinction makes sense - but not sure how that hotel has 5 stars as the above mentioned and valet being hit or miss was a bit of a negative for me. All told two nights at almost $3500 for the room is a lot for service hiccups (and our ac in 103-2b was terrible) but I will be back - for the misses the hits were impressive and the hotel was beyond lovely - just not flawless.

Fantastic service from everyone at Stein Eriksen for our overnight as we were on a road trip through Utah. Our room was large and gorgeous. Patrick at the valet was great helping us get our motorcycle stored for the night. Sam (dinner) and Yen (breakcast) at the Glitretind Restaurant were also fantastic hosts. Highly recommend!!
