Architect Germán del Sol took inspiration from the daily life of Patagonia and based the design of Remota on the buildings in which the sheep farm workers live. To minimize its footprint, Remota uses sustainable practices, locally sourced materials and available resources – light from the continuous vertical windowpanes provides both visibility and warmth, and also contributes to the design scheme. In support of the local community, Remota aims to train and employ only local people.

Wow what a wonderful hotel. My sister messed up her knee on the trip and this hotel couldn’t be more accommodating. They were awesome and really helped us in an emergency. Amazing hospitality. They offered a full vegan menu for us at the restaurant once we told them of our dietary restrictions. Hotel views were amazing. Honestly no need to stay right in the national park it was easy to get to the national park from puerto Natales. Close to the airport, close to town. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone who is interested in a 5 star experience that feels calm and relaxing. Breakfast was amazing as well

This hotel as a clue in the name…..it is 15 minutes walk from the edge of town. We stayed for 2 nights sandwiching a trip to Torres de Paine. Exterior and interior design are best described as quirky. Nothing is at a right angle, floors slope and corridors bend. Floors are very shiny and look slippy. No lift. The bathroom was very dark, shower over the bath which was not easy to get out if. Horrible shower curtain. Superb views, like being in a national geographic magazine. Food…ate dinner here twice. The braised beef I had the first time was very dry, can’t remember what I had the second time. Breakfast was adequate, but nothing special. Staff were friendly and efficient. Alcohol was expensive but the calafete sour is good!

A gorgeous, tranquil lodge in a beautiful part of the world. The rooms were comfortable, and the lodge itself is architecturally lovely. Don't miss the hot tub and the swimming pool with great views!

We stayed at Remota for a couple of days and the rooms were beautiful. I mainly am writing the review because we had such an amazing experience with the staff. Everyone was so friendly and Javier, the restaurant manager, went above and beyond for us. I highly recommend this hotel for its service and decor!

the Remota was a wonderful place to stay. We stayed the night of Christmas eve. The food was amazing, including the largest dessert buffet I have ever seen. The calafate sour was delicious as well. The spa was also wonderful; we used the outdoor hot tub and the sauna. Both were clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.
