Disapointing and confusing

This felt surreal in the worst way. I was looking for a place to escape with the kids last minute and The Pendry kept popping up on my searches. The prices seemed absurd for a hotel chain I had never heard of, but we booked the entry level room because the property seemed beautifull and we decided to give it a try. We arrived and the property was indeed gorgeous. We were upgraded to a suite and that was great. The room is gorgeous and super comfortable. But the mini bar was empty (they say it is how they work). There was only 2 bottes of water in the room. Later, after turdown the same 2 bottles were on our night stands. One of them had been opened by me and they did not bring a new one. Bedding is not 100% cotton and that is a big issue for me. Lunch at Ladd’s tavern was delicious, but took forever. The pool staff was by far the highlight of the stay. It was insanely hot and they were always checking in, very helpfull and friendly. The staff in the hotel however, fell short. They seemed inconvinienced, and honestly, just did not care. I have never wanted to leave a place more. I understand it is the 4th of July and they might be overwhelmed but we have stayed at the Rosewood Hotels and Four Seasons for xmas, NYE, Easter and even the 4th many times and they pull it off seamlessly. I don’t know if they thought we were not worth charming because we were just staying for 1 night, or beacuse we booked through a platform. But we spend 2 months out of the year in NYC alone and were very exited to find somewhere closer than the Hamptons to escape for the weekends. My overall feeling is: do not charge 5 star prices if you can’t deliver a 5 star experience.

My stay at Pendry Natirar was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. The property is stunning, the staff made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived, and every detail reflected luxury and relaxation. The highlight of my stay was an incredible massage with Hillary. She was professional, attentive, and truly gifted. It was one of the best massages I've ever had, leaving me completely relaxed and rejuvenated. From the beautiful accommodations to the exceptional service and peaceful atmosphere, this was an unforgettable birthday getaway. I can't wait to return and would highly recommend Pendry to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing escape.

We recently attended a family wedding at a picturesque venue in Pendy, and while the surroundings were stunning, our experience at the hotel left much to be desired. Here’s a more detailed breakdown of the pros and cons: 1. **Pricing and Room Conditions**: The cost of the room appeared to be exorbitant, especially considering it was just for a single night. I’m unsure if this was due to seasonal pricing, but it felt steep for what we received. One significant drawback was the absence of a shut-off for the balcony lights; they remained illuminated all night, attracting numerous insects into the room. Because of this, I couldn’t enjoy leaving the balcony door open or even step outside to take advantage of the lovely area. 2. **Dining Experience**: When we dined at the hotel, I was disheartened to encounter a cockroach in the dining area. Although the staff promptly dealt with the issue, they did not offer any form of compensation or service discount, which seemed like a missed opportunity to uphold customer satisfaction. Additionally, my cocktail was served incorrectly, and given that some guests at the wedding had nut allergies, the staff needed to exercise greater caution in their food preparation and service. The servers appeared to be typical minimum-wage workers who likely could benefit from additional training in customer service. Overall, the food quality was disappointing and not worth the high prices they charged. It lacked any elements of creativity or finesse that one would expect from a luxury venue. 3. **Luxury Amenities and Accessibility**: The hotel positions itself as a luxury hotel and country club, catering to those seeking a 'getaway' without venturing far from home. However, the parking facilities were inconveniently located, and if you opted for valet service, it came at an additional cost. This could be frustrating for guests looking to enjoy the full experience without the hassle of parking. 4. **Spa Services**: The spa area was clean and well-maintained, but my experience was marred by the inadequate number of hosts available to assist guests. For instance, the mud room, which we were eager to use, was only available on a first-come, first-served basis. This approach is less than ideal; I believe staff should be designated to manage reservations for guests who have booked spa services in advance, to ensure a smoother and more enjoyable experience. In summary, while Pendy has its charm and can serve as a close-to-home getaway for those willing to spend, I personally believe there are better venues out there that offer more value for the money. This is just my perspective, and perhaps your experience would differ.

Tranquil Heaven in the New Jersey Countryside

We stayed here just the one night to celebrate our anniversary. I've stayed at a few Pendry hotels now, and this one certainly lived up to my expectations. The facilities, grounds and rooms are stunning. The hotel has been open less than two years so everything still felt new and in great condition. Unfortunately, we stayed the weekend before Memorial Day so the pool wasn't open, however, we walked past it and are already planning our return just to use the pool. It was large and had plenty of lounge chairs and looked like a great way to spend a Summer day. We dined at Ladd's Tavern and 90 Acres and both were delicious, especially 90 Acres! We loved that our room had a small little terrace where we could sit outside and enjoy the surrounds. The property is within an hour of New York, and you wouldn't know you were in the New Jersey countryside. It is incredibly relaxing and you feel secluded from everything - in a good way! I will say that getting here would be much more convenient with car. We took the train from Manhattan to Peapack station and then a short 10 minute uber to the property, which took a little over 2 1/2 hours. All in all it was an incredible getaway for the weekend and would love to come back.

Beautiful hotel and spa with amazing amenities. All of this while being a short drive from home. The grounds are very pretty and the staff is exceptional. We had a wonderful dinner at Ninety Acres. Highly recommend!
