The Andaz Costa Rica offers just the right mix of adventure and pampering. Each of the 176 rooms, suites and villas balance modern design, with touches of character that blend into the natural surroundings. Woven textiles, solid woods and carved artifacts highlight the rich Costa Rican aesthetic. Guestrooms and suites offer a spacious balcony with breathtaking bay and tropical forest views. Four of the 21 suites feature plunge pools, and the two-bedroom Presidential Suite offers a private full-sized pool. Andaz Villas offer 2- & 3-bedroom floor plans, all with private pools. The Penthouse are multi-levels unit with rooftop private plunge pool.

First class from the moment you arrive

We stayed at the Andaz Peninsula Papagayo for my wife's birthday, and this place is first class in every sense. You need nothing. The rooms are spotless, and if you forgot to pack something, they have it. What really sets this resort apart is the staff. They know their guests and anticipate your needs before you even realize you have them. Right when you're about to ask for something, someone with the best attitude you've ever seen is already handing it to you. That kind of service is rare, even at luxury resorts. A special shout-out to Jairo Junez Lopez, who made our stay unforgettable. Jairo, thank you for everything. We will absolutely be back.

We were a family of four with two kids, 6 and 12, and honestly, we had such a great time at the Andaz Papagayo. The property is beautiful, the pools were a big hit with the kids, and the food was amazing. My kids completely fell in love with Costa Rica. We also want to give a big thank you to Gabriel from Nomad Tours Costa Rica. Since the hotel is a little away from everything, we booked a couple of tours with him before our trip. We did the Buena Vista Adventure with the kids and a safari boat tour to see some wildlife. Both were great and everything went smoothly. Gabriel was also really helpful when we needed to find some medicine at a pharmacy. It was nice having someone we could contact who was willing to help with those little things too. I normally don’t go back to the same place twice, but I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if we come back to the Andaz. Next time, we’d love to add La Fortuna to the trip. Costa Rica definitely won us over! 🇨🇷
