Andaz Peninsula Papagayo Resort, Costa Rica

Had a great time. Would highly recommend. Went with a three-year-old and a six month old and it was very family friendly staff Very attentive. Beautiful grounds, beautiful pool would highly recommend and come back.

Our stay was absolutely incredible, and this was hands down the most beautiful property we have ever stayed at. Every aspect of the experience exceeded our expectations, from the stunning grounds to the exceptional service provided by the entire team. A special thank you to Steven at Gaio for his friendly personality and outstanding service. Ronald and Manuel at Gaio were also wonderful—professional, attentive, and always welcoming. At Ostra, Crystal provided excellent service, and Lui was absolutely amazing. His professionalism and knowledge made choosing a wine an enjoyable experience, and his recommendations were perfect. We would also like to recognize our server at our Casa Playa cabana, who took great care of us and made our beachside experience even more enjoyable. Fransua and Jeffry at C&V brought such great energy and friendly vibes every time we saw them. Their hospitality truly enhanced our stay. Francisco at Perla was also very kind, professional, and provided excellent service. The entire staff throughout the property was incredibly helpful, efficient, and genuinely friendly. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for. We had an amazing time and created memories that will last a lifetime. We cannot wait to return!

Great location and resort for a family vacation. My family loved it. Food choices were limited and you should have some snacks available.

Overall, we had a very satisfying stay. It is true that the hotel is located on a hill, so getting around on foot can be challenging for some guests. The rooms are spacious, beautiful, and elegantly decorated. The atmosphere is of exceptional quality, with several restaurants and all kinds of services available. For our tours, we chose Nomad Tours Costa Rica after seeing their positive reviews and because they are a local company. We enjoyed a rainforest tour where we visited waterfalls, saw wildlife, and went snorkeling. Everything was fantastic. There are also bicycles available to ride around the peninsula, which was a great experience. The views are absolutely incredible.

This was our 2nd stay at Andaz and we are already wanting to plan our next trip. The hotel is stunning with daily monkey visits and even and anteater. The service was top notch from the moment we got there till we left. We very much enjoyed our afternoon of painting on the beach with Isa. Daniel also planned a beautiful sunset dinner at Manglar Prieta that was priceless. He also greatly assisted us with golf T times and dinner reservations. Thank you, Andaz! We can’t wait to come back!
