Great resort - not a great unit.

We stayed in Tower 3 unit 1901 during July 4 holiday. I can honestly say that the staff and resort was excellent- pools were a great experience. The pool bar and restaurant service was top notch. Who ever does the employee training for pool and beach teams needs a raise…because it was excellent. Food service was excellent and the food service team was spot on. The unit was advertised as elite- but it was bare bones …and that is being nice. The linen was poor quality and the sheets did not fit which made sleeping not easy. Kitchen is really not stocked for cooking so plan to eat out! The tv volume would just randomly go out…lights in bathroom flashed dim a lot…some electric outlets would not work…we did call about all issues and staff got the outlets working. Oven took a long time to heat and diswasher seems like it needs replaced. Great resort we just chose a dud unit…

Poor customer service, change in rental

We booked a 14th floor condo for our annual family vacation in February 2026 and a month later the owners decided they wanted it for the same time period. The resort “notified us” via a single text message that said to contact them, but we never saw the text. We did not receive any follow up emails, texts, phone calls, etc. and were moved to a condo on a lower floor (floor 6) and only found out upon check in. Lower floor condos typically run about 10% less than mid-floor units, and yet we were still charged the same price of the original 14th floor unit. When we complained upon check-in, they initially offered us a $350 resort credit, which they eventually bumped up to 10% off, however all that did was charge us the correct amount we should have been charged for a lower floor unit. The Rental agreement states that this can happen, but that the resort will do what they can to move you to a comparable unit that is to the renters liking, but there was nothing done to ensure we were aware of the change to our reservation, let alone if the new unit was to our liking. Be aware that owners can take these steps, which can completely derail a family vacation, and the resort will do minimal to communicate or accommodate you.

Portofino & Premier Island Mgmt company is the only company to trust with your vacation on Pensacola Beach. From the reservation process- to a 24 hour professional check in desk ( We did not arrive until almost midnight ) giving us assistance and directions to the cleanliness of our unit to the restaurants and bar- - to the gym with updated equipment to pool cleanliness/ service and the amazing Spa. 10's across the board to this impeccably run company. Management are actually active and walking property constantly looking for ways they can serve. Thank you for making and delivering a product that exceeds expectations. Bravo and Thank you.

The facilities are nice the vrbo was really nice. But we had an issue with the management and oh boy. The hot tub drastically faded my wife's favorite suit. Caused burning of eyes and skin irritation. We were lied to by 2 people what the chlorine test was. My wife wanted $100 reimbursement for a ruined suit. They wanted a receipt, checked video. We had to talk to 6 different people, finally the CEO called and offered 58 dollars for the replacement suit my wife bought. The check was supposed to be delivered to our room yesterday. No check. So it's a beautiful place, but if you have to deal with mgmt, good luck! Oh, and they bring in millions a months in HOA fees. ​
