Hacienda AltaGracia, an Auberge Resort

My stay at Hacienda AltaGracia was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, the service felt warm, personal, and truly world-class. The casitas were beautiful, private, and surrounded by breathtaking nature and mountain views. The atmosphere was peaceful and restorative, yet every detail still felt luxurious and elevated. The food, wellness experiences, and overall attention to detail made this one of the most memorable properties I’ve experienced in Costa Rica. If you are looking for a luxury retreat focused on relaxation, wellness, nature, and authentic experiences, Hacienda AltaGracia is truly special. I left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already wanting to return.

It's a unique treatment that left me feeling cared for, completely relaxed, but somehow energized, and with noticeably smoother skin. Absolutely worth trying. And the food was a close second to all of it. Every meal felt thoughtful and connected to the place itself, which added another layer to an already immersive experience. The little touches throughout are what I keep coming back to. They're the difference between a property that's beautiful and one that's truly memorable. Hacienda AltaGracia is absolutely the latter. I'll be recommending this property with full confidence. It delivered on every promise luxury travel is supposed to make.

Unmatched! Even better than you can imagine. We brought our 10 month old and 3 year old as well as my parents in their 60s. We used every amenity and did several experiences! Absolutely no regrets and would go back. One of the few trips we felt like that went perfectly! At all the Auberge properties we stayed at, we always feel like a VIP!

The property was excellent, clean and relaxing. The staff was AMAZING, very friendly, polite, respectful and courteous. They remember every guest name and have top notch service. I was disappointed in the food choices and lack of variety. Women likely find it more acceptable than men, not many meat or protein options.

Great experience for 2 or solo relaxation and good food. The entire experience was spectacular events to watch, activities to enjoy and relaxing as well.
